Your Nintendo Switch 2017 Holiday Buyer's Guide

By now, we're well aware that the Nintendo Switch has absolutely taken the world by storm since releasing last March.

The Switch bug has even affected yours truly! As far as my Vocal content goes, it's all I've written about so far.

Lots of us gamers are from the Nintendo generation and it shows with the way we've quickly embraced the new hybrid console from the Japanese giants.

Things are finally looking up for Nintendo, especially considering how much of a lackluster effort the Wii U was.

Why stick to only having Inkling boy and girl on your Mario Kart track? With Splatoon 2 you can literally grab control of them and paint the town red--or purple.

It's fun, it's colorful and features one of the catchiest soundtracks I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

What sets it apart from other games--like the evil Battlefront 2--is the constant stream of free updates and in-game events.

And unlike the bad guys at EA, you don't need to grind for lootboxes--or even worse, buy them. Free, is the operative word.
