Best Super Mario Bros. Games Ever Created
It's not a stretch to say the Italian plumber, Super Mario, has influenced almost every adventure-style game that came after it. These massive video game worlds of today wouldn't exist without the iconic game's incredible influence — which dates back almost 40 years at this point.
Joseph FarleyPublished 6 years ago in GamersNintendo's 4K Plans (Or Lack Thereof) vs. User Friendliness
Nintendo probably isn't the company that springs to mind when you think of cutting-edge technologies. If anything, they might be the exact opposite, holding on to old technologies and refining what has been proven to work rather than leading the pack in quickly-outdated technologies trying to chase the newest dollar.

Mighty NiftyPublished 7 years ago in GamersTake the Shovel Back, I’m Not Burying Her: An Open Letter to Dontnod Entertainment
Dear Dontnod, I’m really tired of seeing dead lesbians in media. When I say this, I don’t mean that I’m sad about the creative choices that have happened in recent media, or even that I’m heartbroken by the fact that "dead lesbians" is still a very common trope within modern media. No. When I say I’m tired of seeing dead lesbians in media, I mean that I’ve given up hope. That the surge of joy I once felt on the rare occasion that I saw my sexuality represented in a healthy way is quickly snuffed out by anxiety as I have to sit and debate if I even want to continue consuming this piece of media until I can be absolutely sure that said character won’t meet a grisly end.
Destiny SmithPublished 7 years ago in GamersHow To: Level Up Your PC Without Breaking the Bank!
One thing is for certain; gaming isn't a cheap hobby. Especially PC gaming. Technology is expanding at an extremely rapid pace and one day your computer may be able to handle all the new next generation games, while a couple days later something even greater is released and its time to upgrade that old graphics card again. Or if you're a student like me, you may not have 1000 dollars just burning a hole in your pocket to spend on a good enough computer that can handle Destiny 2 or COD:WW2 (Totally a Battlefield 1 copy by the way).
Tyler WedderburnPublished 7 years ago in Gamers"You Have Been Kicked From the Game"
LittleBigPlanet 2 is the sequel to LittleBigPlanet, and to most, it is considered the best installment in the LittleBigPlanet series. However, the online community isn't the best at times. If you're lucky, you'll run into a great group of players and make friends with them as you journey through community content. However, if you're unlucky like myself (and many others), you'll find that playing online is a very unpleasant experience.... And here's why:
DELETE ACCOUNTPublished 7 years ago in GamersResponding to "Gamer Shaming"
Well, it's been a few years, so "Gamer Gate" has kind of blown over by now. But that's precisely why I feel a pressing need to talk about it. Because, in the thick of it, it was hard to even say "Gamer Gate" without getting tongue-lashed or even censored. Now, hopefully, since "time heals all wounds" we can sit down like reasonable adults and have a reasonable discussion about it. It's worth discussing. We shouldn't try to pretend it didn't happen just because it was ugly and tantrum-y. Both sides raised important arguments and made interesting statements about what they think the "gamer" identity is and should be. These days, to move forward as gamers, we should address the concerns of the critics of the video gaming community. I think we should do this with rational arguments, which were lost to the firebombs of virulent hostility on both sides I witnessed a few years ago.
Tron KurosawaPublished 7 years ago in GamersThe History of Video Games: Part 2 - The Fall of the Atari 2600.
Welcome back. Last week we took a brief look at the Atari 2600. This week we will chart its rise and its eventual fall. The Atari 2600 was the first major console and in many ways set the stage for the consoles that would follow. Many of the features of video gaming we now take for granted started with the 2600.
Iain BakerPublished 7 years ago in GamersDmC - Dante
With the phenomenal success of video game Devil May Cry 4, the white-haired demon hunter Dante was in more demand than ever. So they went back to the drawing board and came up with an even more extreme game: DmC: Devil May Cry. Does DmC Dante live up to the game’s hype? Read on.
Michael WolffPublished 7 years ago in GamersMust Have PS4 Accessories for Gamers
A PS4 is an amazing piece of equipment. It can really elevate your gaming experience in ways that most other game systems can't. It's got killer graphics, an insanely fast memory hard drive, and also has way better stats than the Xbox 1.
Riley Raul ReesePublished 7 years ago in GamersAtaribox: Did Atari Do The Math?
I was one of the few who did the math back in 1994 when the console (and bit-) war was in full steam with many manufacturers trying to catch my attention and ultimately my money. Atari had just released the JAGUAR, a 64-bit machine that, on
