In some of my previous posts, I’ve talked about upcoming movies and TV series. You can find the links to those stories at the end of this post. Today, I will chat about Among Us and spill some tea on the upcoming TV series based on it. Stay tuned!

What is Among Us?

Alright, buckle up and get ready for some interstellar fun! Among Us is an insanely popular online multiplayer game that took the gaming world by storm. Developed by InnerSloth, it quickly became a sensation, turning friends against each other and igniting countless arguments about who’s trustworthy and who’s a sneaky imposter.

Imagine you and a bunch of friends (or strangers) find yourselves on a spaceship, space station, or even an alien planet. You take on the role of colorful little astronauts, each with their own cute space helmet. The objective? Complete tasks to keep the ship running smoothly and survive the journey. Sounds simple, right?

But here’s the kicker: Among your innocent crew members lurk one or more imposters who are out to sabotage your mission. They’re devious, sneaky, and will do anything to throw you off track. Imposters can pretend to be one of you, blend in, and then strike when you least expect it.

Their ultimate goal is to eliminate crew members one by one, causing chaos and panic. They can also sabotage vital systems, like cutting off oxygen or plunging the ship into darkness, making it even more challenging for the crew to survive.

Communication is key in Among Us. As crew members, you need to discuss suspicious behavior, keep an eye on each other, and work together to identify the imposters.

When someone finds a dead body or witnesses a suspicious act, an emergency meeting is called, and players engage in lively debates, accusing and defending each other. It’s like a digital courtroom where logic, persuasion, and intuition clash.

Now, the thrilling part: If you suspect someone is an imposter, you can vote to eject them out of the airlock. But be careful! Wrongly accusing an innocent crew member can lead to disaster.

The imposters, on the other hand, have to play their cards right, manipulate the crew, and avoid getting caught. It’s a psychological battle between trust and betrayal, where every decision counts.

Among Us has gained immense popularity due to its addictive gameplay and the hilarious moments it creates. The game has become a social phenomenon, with friends organizing game nights, live streams attracting millions of viewers, and memes flooding the internet.

The simplicity of its graphics, combined with the suspense and camaraderie it fosters, has captured the hearts of players across the globe.

An Among Us TV Show?

CBS Studios is teaming up with the folks at Innersloth, the game studio behind Among Us, to create an awesome animated series! Variety spilled the beans on this exciting news.

So, get ready for the animated show that follows the same storyline as the game. You know the drill: many crew members realize there’s a sneaky alien shapeshifter among them.

This impostor is out to wreak havoc, mess with the spaceship, and take out everyone on board. It’s a race against time to uncover the impostor’s true identity and save the day. Exciting, right?

The creative genius behind this project is Owen Dennis, the mastermind who worked on Cartoon Network’s Infinity Train. He’s the creator and executive producer, making sure the series is packed with awesome moments.

And you know what’s even cooler? The animation studio Titmouse, known for shows like Big Mouth and Star Trek: Lower Decks, is handling the animation production. They really know how to bring characters to life!

But wait, there’s more! Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser from Innersloth are also executive producers, making sure the show stays true to the game’s spirit.

And let’s not forget the awesome executive-producing team from Titmouse, including Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina. They’re all joining forces to make this series something special.

Now, here’s the juicy part: we don’t know which network or streaming platform will air the show just yet. But don’t worry, discussions are happening behind the scenes, and soon enough, we’ll know where to catch all the animated Among Us goodness.

Final Words

So, get pumped, because an animated Among Us series is on its way.

It’s gonna be epic, filled with suspense, and bring all the intense moments of the game to life.
