Saints Row the Third Remastered (Review)

In my opinion Sants Row the Third is the best sandbox game. In Saints Row the Third you can customize your character which Is nothing new and neither is being able to upgrade your character but in Saints Row the Third you can make your character immune to fall damage, gun damage, fire damage and have infinite health and stamina. If you watch my videos on my YouTube channel you can see how I did it. You want to attack the blue gang, can’t remember their name at the moment, in front of the first safe house Shaundi gives you. The reason you want them is because they are the easier ones to take out. Use your Saints tank if you have it. That thing has tons of health and you will also get money from killing those blue dudes.

In Saints Row the Third the cops don’t chase you forever and neither do the gangs. You must wait until the wanted level runs out. Upgrade this last if you are trying to max out your character. Although I enjoy the Grand Theft Auto series, it can be a bit annoying to always have the cops on your tail.

When you are maxed out, you will also have infinite ammo for all weapons which and can shoot continuously. Now what games allow that? You can go on some psychotic journey and whack people or law enforcement if you choose. In Saints Row the Third you also get a rubber dildo if you want to use it.

Saints Row the Third, just like similar games, is light on the story but who cares when you are having fun with all the side missions and slaughtering gangsters? The basic story is Johnny Gat decided to knock off a bank which belonged to the Syndicate. The robbery falls apart and Johnny Gat gets put to sleep permanently and the Syndicate takes all the Saints’ assets as they crash land from an airplane into Steelport. The Saints must take care of each gang and dismantle the Syndicate but things take an ugly turn when facing the Luchadores. The Luchadores blow up a bridge and frame the Saints, which causes a Senator to employ a private security force to take care of the gang problem once and for all. The Saints eventually win, and you get 2 ending and neither really affect what happens to Shaundi.

The graphics have improved a bit and it kept its silliness. You have a decent size map to explore and a lot of activities. I wish they kept mission where you ride around in a sewer truck, blowing feces everywhere. There are many new activities and the Professor Genki missions are fun, especially when your character is maxed out. You will never run out of things to do and if you use a cop car then those repossess missions are a breeze. The Assassin missions will also be easy with a maxed character. Actually, the whole game is easy with a maxed character.

I hope if we get a Saints Row 5, they make Saints Row 4 some movie or game that Pierce came up with. Also, I hope they have it that Jonny survived and landed in another town without his memories and eventually gets them back and joins the Saints. It would be a nice DLC to play as Johnny as he took over the town. I did like Saints Row 4, but I would rather it not be cannon to the story. I also, did like Agents of Mayhem but again, that could be one of Pierce’s movies.

Overall, I say this game is a masterpiece and easily my favorite game as well as Saints Row 2. I hope you enjoy it has much as I did.
