We all can say, especially PlayStation 4 gamers, that video game creators release unbelievable games every year. Especially for the PS4, many of us wait in pure anticipation for certain games to be released the next year. And as much as it seriously kills us to wait, waiting actually hypes us up even more. And once we finally get our hands on any of the newest games, it's like heaven's rays are descending upon us, the gates are wide open, and guiding us home to our PS4 console, our most comfortable couch, and a weekend of straight gaming. If that doesn't get you excited, then nothing will.

But as much as we loved this year's games, and killed straight through them within two weeks (or less if you're crazy like me), 2018's PS4 games will be a bigger deal — you know exactly what I'm talking about. I mean games that we heard were in the making from years back, new versions of previous games, etc.

I'm sure we all loved Far Cry: Primal, one of the top PS4 hunting games, that dropped back in 2016. As much fun as we had with that one... we needed a new Far Cry. And luckily, the creators have grated our wishes and created Far Cry 5, one of the most anticipated PS4 games of 2018.

This next game is much more political compared to the last one. Through fighting to free Hope County, a new cult has come to town, and they’re deadly. The dangerous Joseph Seed and his diabolical cult members won’t make it easy for you to keep the resistance in this small town safe. Even though this cult leader is seen as a religious preacher, nothing religious comes out of him.

Build your character in this game, explore Hope County, wildlife, and other inhabitants in the open world. But make sure Seed doesn’t get away with his evil schemes.

Despite it being so different from modern day (obviously), I love the idea of playing in a world without technology — something so raw. It’s not like you can pull out a gun in the game, or head onto your phone. You’ve got swords, horses, quests, and just straight up historical events — something that this game is based on.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance was actually inspired by real life events. With realistic and bloody medieval combat, this is truly as close as you will get to this time period — especially with the practical weather and day times — making this one of the most anticipated PS4 games of 2018.

Ever since they dropped the first Assassin's Creed in 2007, it's seen as one of the best video games ever. With so much to tell through one game, Assassin's Creed became a huge franchise with so many games that it branches out in different and intriguing stories. But this one — I think it could save the franchise.

Origins is based in Egypt... need I say more? We’re unraveling the mysteries of ancient Egypt, through lost tombs, the Great Pyramids, mummies, and even gods! This version of Assassin’s Creed is also uncovering the origin story of how the Assassin’s Brotherhood came to be — all the more reason to pre-order this.

With new combat methods and weapons so powerful that they can take down the most epic enemies, this intense story will have you playing at the edge of your seat — just like every other amazing Assassin’s Creed game.

Since its first release in 2004, you can tell that Monster Hunter has done a lot throughout the years. While each game was a great experience to play, I seriously think the one dropping this upcoming January will be one of the most anticipated PS4 games of 2018 — by far.

The graphics in this one will surely shock you in different ways when playing and journeying through tropical jungles. You’ll be surrounded by dinosaurs and dragons — a plethora of them. The only way to slide right through them is your ability to camouflage professionally through new armory and a great amount of large weapons. There will also be new methods and techniques of attacking! So, be prepared for a lot of action.
