No Day 2 invites? And 600CP

This document shows very huge news about the Pokemon World Championchips 2024.

The next event will be in Hawaii and the bar has been raised instead of needing 500 Championship points in North America, you need 600 Championship points and Europe instead of 350. Probably you would need 500 right now in Latin America--that's 350. And Oceana 300. Then the rest of the countries is 250, but the main thing is that they want to have less people at the World Championships in 2024--making it more exclusive.

I don't really mind because I always enjoy participating in the Regional tournaments during the season. It's important to remember that playing the TCG competitively and attending Regionals should be about enjoying the experience, rather than just grinding for results. Also, it's not just about getting the invite to Worlds. There's so much more to it, like making new friends and building connections.

You will experience laughter and embark on numerous journeys across the entire world. It is important to note that locals will participate in challenges and cups, but only the top six finishes will be counted. Your best six finishes this year will count towards your challenges, and another six for your cup. This means that you have the opportunity to accumulate a significant number of points. However, it is not enough to guarantee an invite.

There is still positive news regarding the availability of regionals and internationals. In total, there are six regionals that contribute to your best finish limit. This means you can still participate in local tournaments, such as cups and challenges, as well as special events and internationals. These events accumulate championship points, and the good news is that the minimum requirement to earn points has been lowered. Now, even if you place in the top 512, you can still receive points as long as there is enough attendance. In some cases, you may even earn 20 or 30 championship points at a regional tournament, thanks to the adjusted scoring system.

Today, with the announcement of the Day Two Worlds invite, you can finally take a break and live your life to the fullest. Now, all you need to do is secure a high ranking to ensure your spot in the prestigious Day Two of the World Championships in 2024. The format has changed, and everyone will now participate in the same tournament. There is no longer a distinction between Day One and Day Two attendance. Instead, you can aim for a Day One buy, which allows you to skip the first round if you belong to the higher class of your specific region. Additionally, there are still stipends available. However, the main focus is on reducing the number of participants at the World Championships. This means that earning a spot in the Pokemon World Championships will be more challenging than ever before. So, don't worry about it and just have fun playing. Enjoyment is the ultimate priority.

To summarize for local participants, the top six finishes in regionals and special events, and four finishes in the Internationals, will count towards qualification. Additionally, if you rank highly in your region, you can bypass the first round of the World Championships 2024. Once you have accumulated enough points, you will automatically skip this round and begin with three points. This means there is no longer a need to chase a spot on the first day, which is great. The organizers are aiming for fewer participants in the next World Championships, so this is a significant change. That's the news for today. Feel free to share your thoughts.

My opinion on that is that it actually makes me sad that Pokemon makes it harder for Trainers to get to the Worlds but otherwise it also motivates everyone to train more and everything but you shouldn‘t forget about the goal of the TCG in Pokemon it helps you by making new friends and it should be fun that‘s the main reason most players are playing the game so don‘t forget about it.
