How to Choose the Best Gaming Monitor in 2023

Ultrawide displays feature screens with wider horizontal widths. These displays can display different aspect ratios (e.g. 21:9), which affects how their resolution is displayed on the screen. We have listed the top resolutions and sizes below.
As you search for the perfect fit, keep in mind that ultrawide displays can be found with curved screens. This curvature compensates for screen distortion on ultrawide displays and gives the image a sharper appearance. This is a great benefit for gamers.
However, a 24-inch monitor is the best for most people who will be sitting at a desk. Although larger monitors allow you to enjoy higher resolutions, they can be uncomfortable for those who are used to being close to them or have smaller desks.
Finally, if your display is larger than 30 inches we recommend a TV. You won't be able to see the screen as close up and TVs offer better multimedia quality. However, make sure you get a TV with a fast response time and a "videogame mode" that minimizes input lag.
