'Guardians of the Galaxy' Game: Chris Pratt Isn't Starlord This Time Around
The Guardians of the Galaxy are an eclectic group of unlikely heroes: this time with Scott Porter as Star-Lord.
Last year at the 2016 Game Awards, Telltale games announced that they were making a Guardians of The Galaxy game. With that announcement, the internet was buzzing with hype considering how well Telltales last superhero-based game, Batman: The Telltale Series was accepted.
Telltale has made quite the name for themselves with their story-driven, action based games over the past few years:
- The Walking Dead (2012, 2013, 2016)
- The Wolf Along Us (2013)
- Tales from the Borderlands (2014)
- Game of Thrones (2015)
- Minecraft: Story Mode (2015)
With the studio's success, it's no wonder that countless Marvel fans are excited for what Telltalle could bring to life with a Guardians of the Galaxy game. We got our first look at what's coming with a few screenshots and it looks as though we're going to take control of our favorite characters.
The Guardians of the Galaxy are an eclectic group of unlikely heroes who have faced off against countless universal villains over the years in the comics, and it sounds like Telltale is going to introduce a story that has never been told before. Even with the overwhelming popularity of the characters and their Hollywood actors, it doesn't look as though the stars of the MCU are joining the video game universe. But that doesn't mean that we're not in line to have some incredible voices taking us to an entirely new world in Telltale's latest interactive narrative game.
