This is my view on the Call of Duty series, and whats to come in the new release of World War 2.

Call of Duty: World War 2

This Friday, November 3rd, 2017 the highly anticipated Call of Duty World War 2 releases world wide. As many fans have been waiting for the game to return to its roots as in "boots on the ground," they will get exactly what they have been asking for. Call of Duty in the past couple of years has been know to have the ability to "fly" as the game would take place in the future, and many fans of the game are not exactly pleased with those decisions. Many fans think that Call of Duty is ruining their own game by adding that ability because they have not done that when the game first started.

Many Call of Duty fans got a taste of World War 2 when they released the beat on two separate weekends to allow the fans to get a taste of what the game has to offer. Playing the beta, I was extremely pleased with Call of Duty going back to its roots of "boots on the ground," and make the game a better experience for all fans.

My Experience with Call of Duty

I have played Call of Duty since its fourth game, that's when I started to play multiplayer. I have always been a fan of the older Call of Dutys and with some of the past releases I have found myself going back to play the older games simply because it has been more fun than the newer ones. Call of Duty is big on adding a lot of additional content that you need to pay more money for, which can sometime be a disadvantage to the players who do not have money to blow every time something new is brought to the game. But keeping in mind that's how most games work, Call of Duty still offers a great experience when just playing the game no matter what mode you are in.

I have always had the same group of friends when it comes to playing online in Call of Duty. Some people play for fun, others competitively. Me and my friends take the competitive route, simply because it makes the game a lot more fun than it already is. We always compete to see who is the best out of our group, and also to be the best online.

Call of Duty returning to its roots has brought a lot of attention back to the game, especially with some of my friends. Many of my friends have completely stopped playing the game simply off of all the added content and "flying" that simply took the fun out of what the game used to be. Now everyone has the game pre ordered and we are ready to go!

'Call of Duty Zombies' returns!

The Nazi Zombies game mode was first introduced in Call of Duty: World at War. This game mode was really a change to the series simply on nothing like it being in the game. Call of Duty has done an amazing job with the story line, keeping it updated over the years. Since World at War, Call of Duty has extended the zombies mode through out the games series. Introducing new versions of zombies, Call of Duty really kept to the story line through the Black Ops series. Adding multiple plot twists, character changes, and maps have really kept its fan base wondering what the truth behind everything is, and how to find out said truth!

Call of Duty releases rumors behind its zombie story, and also will put "easter eggs" in maps, trailers, and gameplay to start getting fans ready for when the game is released. Fans will spend countless hours playing zombies to see how far they can go, and to also complete the objectives to unlock more clues to the storyline.

Even if you do not care about the storyline, Zombies is still a fun game mode to play if you are going solo or partied up with your friends! Nazi Zombies always has stuff to do to keep you busy, and its also a way to compete against your friends or to simply see how far you can go as the game mode is round based. Zombies also has a point system but you are really killing for money to unlock weapons in game, traps to help with killing zombies, and of course new areas of the map!

Call of Duty also releases downloadable content that normally features a new zombies map to further your adventure.

Final Thoughts

Every year you have your normal people who are either hardcore fans of Call of Duty and do not care what the game is, and then you have the fans who always find something wrong or simply do not like it.

From what I have seen so far as of beta gameplay, trailers, and content released from Call of Duty themselves, this year looks really promising in terms of the game regaining its fanbase. Besides me being a hardcore Call of Duty fan, I was sold as soon as they announced them going back to their roots and none of these crazy future versions!

What is your take on Call of Duty? Are you a hardcore fan or do you take every little detail into consideration? This year should be a good one for the game with it going back to being original. But the fans will be the ones to decide that! With the game releasing soon, we will have full access to the game and not the little we did during the beta series. Happy Call of Duty launch to everyone! See you on there.
