A few months ago, one of my friends introduced me to a YouTube channel dedicated to a game called Trackmania. Before this, I had surprisingly never heard of this game since I usually enjoy racing games.

The YouTuber's name is Wirtual. He creates videos about interesting Trackmania records and incredible feats.

After watching many of his videos, I decided to download the game to try it out since it is free to play. I immediately got attached to the game's playstyle, even though I’m not very good at it yet.

In this post, I will introduce you to Trackmania and explain what the game consists of.

What is Trackmania?

TrackMania is a high-speed racing video game series developed by the French studio Nadeo and published by Ubisoft. The series features a unique gameplay style in which players race on tracks made up of various different blocks and can customize and create their own tracks.

The game focuses on fast-paced, arcade-style racing and is known for its high-speed action, tight controls, and creative track design.

The game offers several different game modes, including a traditional racing mode, a platform mode, and a puzzle mode.

In the traditional racing mode, players race against the clock on tracks filled with jumps, loops, and other obstacles.

The platform mode is a more puzzle-like experience, where players must navigate tracks filled with traps and obstacles and reach the end of the track in the fastest time possible.

The puzzle mode tasks players with creating their own tracks and completing them in the fastest time possible.

TrackMania is also known for its robust track-creating tools, which allow players to create and share their own tracks with the community.

The game’s track editor is intuitive and easy to use, and players can share their tracks online with other players. This feature has helped create a dedicated fan base that enjoys the game’s customization options and online multiplayer features.

The game also features a multiplayer mode, which allows players to race against each other online. This model also includes a ladder system, where players can compete against each other to climb to the top of the rankings.

The game’s online community has been very active, with players sharing their tracks and competing against each other regularly.

Overall, TrackMania is a fast-paced, arcade-style racing game that offers a unique gameplay experience. With its tight controls, creative track design, and robust track-creating tools, it appeals to many players and has built a dedicated fan base.

The game’s multiplayer mode and online community also add an extra layer of replayability and social interaction.
