Ever since video games were first invented, there were programmers who tried to make a video game that was sexy. Some, such as Custer's Revenge, went down in history as being some of the worst video games in history. Others, such as Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender, were alright, but were just a little too campy to be sexy.

Then, there were a select few games that actually managed to make gamers drool. These games offered fan service galore, had excellent graphics, and, yes, also occasionally had a plot that would actually excite more cerebral players.

It takes a lot—and I mean, a whole lot—to be considered one of the sexiest video games ever made. These ten picks, though, are widely considered to be the most likely to make you get hot under the collar.

Few games have had as much staying power as Second Life, and it's easy to see why. Second Life promises gamers a chance to live a life that they actually would want to live—and that includes being able to look the way you want to look.

Lara Croft is considered to be one of the first video game vixens, even when she was literally just a pile of barely recognizable polygons. As tech improved, so did Lara's incredible looks.
