Ai Qing (March 27, 1910 - May 5, 1996), born Jiang Zhenghan, courtesy name Yang Yuan, alias Hai Cheng, used pen names Ejia, Kea, Lin Bi, etc. Born in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, he is a modern writer and poet.

After graduating from middle school in 1928, he entered the National West Lake Art Academy in Hangzhou. In 1933, he published his first long poem Dayanhe - My Nanny under his pen name. In 1932, he joined the Chinese Left-wing Artists' Union in Shanghai and engaged in revolutionary literary and artistic activities. In 1935, he published his first collection of poetry, Dayanhe. It was mistaken for a rightist in 1957. He lived and worked in Heilongjiang and Xinjiang, interrupted his creation for more than 20 years. He was born in 1910 in a feudal family of Fantian Jiang Village, Jindong District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. He was raised by a poor peasant woman until he was five years old. In 1917, he studied in the Golden Division Attached Primary School. After graduating from middle school in 1928, he entered the National West Lake Art Academy in Hangzhou. In 1928, encouraged by Headmaster Lin Fengmian, he went to Paris to work, study painting and come into contact with modern European poetry. At the beginning of 1932, he returned to China and joined the Chinese Left-wing Artists League in Shanghai to engage in revolutionary literary and artistic activities. He was soon caught and wrote many poems in prison, among which "Dayanhe - My Nanny" caused a sensation and became famous after its release. After 1948, he published more than 200 poems, including "The Crest of the Wave," "Hymn of Light," and "The Colosseum." He published the Selected Works of Ai Qing and so on. He lived and worked in Heilongjiang and Xinjiang, interrupted his creation for more than 20 years. It was not until 1976, when he was rewritten, that another creative surge occurred. After his rehabilitation in 1979, he served as vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association and Vice president of the International PEN Center, visiting many countries in Europe, the United States and Asia. In 1935, at the age of 25, Ai Qing obeyed her parents and married Zhang Zhuru.

With Zhang Yueqin.

In 1936, when Ai Qing was working as a Chinese language teacher in Changzhou Wujin Female Normal School, she met and fell in love with a female student, Wayne (real name Zhang Yueqin), Ai Xuan's mother. In 1939, Ai Qing, 29, married Wayne, 18, and gave birth to a daughter, Ai Qingming, and a son, Ai Duanwu. Ai Xuan was born in 1947 in Xiaolizhuang, Shenxian County, Hebei Province. [4] In 1955, Ai Qing and Wei divorced. Ai Xuan, his sister Ai Qingming and brother Ai Duanwu made a judgment against their father, and his sister Ai Mei was raised by their mother.

In 1955, Ai Qing met Gao Ying, who had just been transferred to the Chinese Writers Association. On March 27, 1956, Ai Qing and Gao Ying got married.
