Probably shouldn't buy the knock-off "fish eye lens" next time...

Our Top Story Tonight...: IS THIS ACCURATE??

I imagine there is an unacknowledged generational divide on the origin of the (uncondensed) subtitled phrase above, as while I grew up on both Toy Story (1995) and Throw Momma From The Train (1987), I only realized somewhat recently that the phrase actually originated from the latter film. I don't know if that was the first time it was ever used, but it certainly was an interesting discovery for me.

IN OTHER NEWS...

I got nothing, actually.

Although...

I did just finish the pencil draft of my fourth comic for my writing/film/etc. project!!!

I'd prefer to have it published first, so, unfortunately, I won't be sharing it with you.

But take my word for it...

IN OTHER, OTHER NEWS...

Have I told you before that I really have no idea what I should be doing with my life???

Just kidding.

Really, though, I think we can all agree it is simply another day. Call it challenging, call it horrendous, call it...

(supercalifragalisticicksbealidocious...)

(supercalifragilisticexpialidocious...)

Yeah. ^That.

Haha.

IN OTHER, MORE !!! IMPORTANT !!! NEWS...

I still got nothing.

Except a NEW COMIC!!!

...

Which I won't be show you all...for now.

...

It really is amazing when you are typing, and really into the moments, and feeling like you have another Encarta on your hands or something.

And then you realize...

Barely two "pg up" clicks and you are back up top. Literally.

Well....

Whatever.

(For some reason I heard Lloyd Christmas's voice in my head there for a sec...)

... ...

...

You know...I think I left the oven on.

I guess I'll go check and see if my goose is well and truly cooked now.

Overcooked--

Just like my wife makes it.

Haha.

Just kidding.

..............................................

I think you know, and I know, that you have FAR better things to do with your time than listen to me jump all over the page.

...

But it just wouldn't be as fun, now, would it?!?!?!!

HAHA!

HA!

Ha!

ha!

...

ha....

ahem.

Okay.

That's enough beating around the bush for now.

IN--OH, GOD, HELP ME--OTHER NEWS...

I just looked up at the window here and thought it was raining...only to find it was dried blech on the glass. Lol. I'm not that worried about it. XD

In fact, though, the clouds are looking a little gray out there--not Fletch "charcoal" kind of gray, of course, but still pretty suggestive.

(Only kidding.)

I just thought of a quote from Fawlty Towers--one Basil says about the odd moment making it all worthwhile or something. I only wish I could automatically instill others with the context of where I am coming from. That would be pretty sweet.

In case you don't know, I enjoy the classics. Things like "Fawlty Towers", "Blackadder", "Mr. Bean", "Tales From The Crypt", "Twin Peaks", Friday the 13th, "The 'Burbs", "Sneakers"...

And on, and on...and on.

What are you favorite kinds of movies?

What scares you intensely?

What makes you laugh?

There really is a big world out there of options. I mean, you can look no further than the $5 bin in any store to discover something worth your time. The thing about commercialism--and I guess chain stores in particular--is that they really only sell those things that are in high demand.

I mean, it makes sense from a business point of view. Sure. It just sucks when you are looking for something in particular--perhaps to broaden your horizons a little bit--and its all the same--perhaps--...crap.

I'm sure I don't have to go into too much detail, of course. Things of such nature are perhaps self-evident, anyway. It really is just disappointing, all things considered.

But...

At least the classics are more or less comfortably accessible, if not completely free to watch, in this hybrid-digital world.

Now...on to book sales...
