The Emerald Tablet is of Egyptian origin and its author is unidentified, but it is named after the Egyptian legendary "Hermes Trismegistus". Just as the Taoist alchemists did not intend to make the elixir, but to cultivate themselves, so the real alchemists in the West also refined their cultivation. The verse seems pretty straightforward, as if it's about Genesis, not too deep and difficult to understand, right? And then we get to the last verse, which reads.

So Armentie Hall in The Jade Book also matches the narrative of Casey and the Martian boys as a place where records of the past are kept. Casey predicted that this underground "archive" would be discovered by the end of the 1990s. Unfortunately, the prophecy did not come true.
