Unforeseen Forces
It was a crisp southern fall morning. The breeze was more like an old snowman’s breath, cool and light. The sky was a soft rich blue. Mommy duties complete nature offered a break in time. A core recharging breath and linear time didn't exist. Having learned to utilize the Internet to grow my small business, I got on the line. Looking to network and advocate my personal mission for the day, I logged into social media. The first images I saw sent shockwaves hitting the pit of my stomach. Time all out melted and faded away. The serene morning songs of the birds had been placed on mute and the silence was deafening.

After months of silence, I've decided that now is a good enough time in my life to continue this profile. Since starting university as a creative writing student, I’ve had a lot of time to write more for my world. I’ve remoulded old pieces, finished more writing projects that further flesh out my world and most importantly, I’ve started to come closer to a real plan for my first official world.

Yesterday seemed like a distant memory. James was awakened by both the feel and sound of his stomach rumbling. Fortunately for him, his nose detected the aroma of whatever mouth-watering concoction Uncle June was whipping up in the kitchen.

It had been a half hour jog back down the mountain and into town and yet I couldn't get the feeling of Aaron being so close to go away. I hated myself for feeling this way. I didn't want anyone to make me feel this way, much less the Alpha. I had no intention of ending up with those kinds of responsibilities. Besides, its not like he would want me anyway. I was far from the most beautiful woman in town and I was to tall. I was only a couple inches shorter then Aaron who was around 6'5". Growing up I was always picked on because women weren't supposed to be taller then most of the men in town. At 6'2" that meant I was taller then most of the men in town, except Aaron.
Kiss Before Dying
James Mitchell entered through the main entrance of the Institute for Paranormal Studies. As he passed by doors labeled “Introduction to Magic” and “Vampiric Lore,” the admittedly nerdy side of his personality was intrigued by the prospect of learning about the paranormal.

Titus tightened the rope. The two friends acknowledged one another with a nod, Titus turned and headed for the four battling the mast and rigging. Taking hold and passing it to Gram they both helped to control the wild sails.

I met William when I was still Rihanon (half-French, half-Scottish). I didn't have to go under the name Morran, meaning “great one.” I always got a sense that I wanted to be there for him. He was wild-eyed and wild-haired. He seemed to need someone to calm him down from this warlike wild zeal he’d get in his eyes, like he was daring danger to take him further. He wanted to test his danger limits. I think he wondered if he had any.

Finding Grey I'm going through my assigned aisle in Costco filling the cart and sending it off to the truck for unloading. My family and the survivors we've taken in have developed a system for cleaning out stores. We take everything that is practicable. Obviously we don’t need giant plasma TVs or surround sound systems, although we do take a few. Four groups of four enter the store. First we divide the sections then split up. Two people load the carts while the other two run them back and forth to the trucks. Our fleet of box trucks stands waiting outside the store. Today we were assigned Costco. I was going down my assigned aisle with my team when I found him. One of my best friends from high school. I started grabbing two pack of sea salt to load into the plastic storage bins when I saw a boot. I grabbed my knife and went on guard. Traveling up the aisle about four feet I swept the remaining packs aside and grabbed the his arm and drug him off the shelf. Immediately I pinned him and held my knife to his throat. I didn’t recognize him until he open his eyes and spoke. There is no man on earth with that voice and those grey blue eyes.
