The moon will be making it’s first opposition to the sun for the 2022 fall season this week. On the 9th, the moon will find itself at the midpoint of it’s cycle in cardinal, airy Libra. These are just a few of the weird and wonderful facts about our moon. The moon has inspired humans with its beauty, mystery, and wonder since time immemorial. It is considered a scientist’s best friend when it comes to understanding planetary science. The moon is our nearest neighbor in the universe and perhaps the most studied celestial body ever. Sinha CeniPublished 2 years ago in FuturismDo stars remember their past?
Stars in their "young" years, from newborn to adolescent, pose a major scientific challenge. Because of their complexity, modeling the star formation process in theoretical models is extremely challenging. Observing a star's oscillations is one of the few ways to find out more about a star's age, structure, or formation.
