Dear Earth,

Mommy told me about what happened today. It was on the news. People were walking and a big crowd was around window stores. I was small but able to make my way through people to get to the front. It was big. The thing that hit Earth. There was lots of them too. It was like rain. Big giant rain drops. A lot of people were talking as they watched what was happening to Earth. The tv turned black and the scratchy noises came on. I guess the show ended or something. I came home this afternoon and all mom told me was that Earth was no longer here. Anyways, I’m getting tired. My hand hurts. A lot of stars are out tonight like always. I guess I’ll stop writing now before daddy and mommy comes to tuck me in bed. I hope Earth will come back someday. If they do ever come back, we will all be happy planets together again. That will be the best thing that will ever happen if Earth comes back. So I really do hope that Earth comes back. Maybe we could throw a party or something someday. There will be lots of food. Lots of people. Lots of smiles. Lots of talking. Lots of everything. I just want everyone to be happy again so please come back Earth. Thank you.

We The People of Saturn,

To the Citizens of Neptune:

On Friday, October 16th, we as a nation will commemorate the 20th anniversary of Earth’s tragic perishing at Maritime Hall. Earth was once a home to our sisters and brothers, therefore it is our duty to pay our respect to a planet that has worshipped the universe beyond their own abode. The abundant of education and lifestyle that we have learned from Earth’s diversity and way of living has played a big role in our community as a whole. The history of their legacy will continue for as long as we live.

As the leader of Neptune, I, President Drew Young, hope that the nation of this planet come together for this fundamental event. At sunrise, during the hours of 6-8am, a call for reverence in the temple of Brood will be held for everyone in remembrance of Earth's dignity and pride. The address of the memorial ceremony will be podcasted through live streams, radio, television and any other technology device.

The full agenda of Earth's 20th anniversary will be provided on the link here. I hope that as a community, we will be able to come together as a nation that will only continue to grow stronger, yet humble with the companionship of the other citizens on the planets of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus.

Your President,

Drew Young

[Interview Question: It’s about 100 years since Earth has disappeared. Do you have any thoughts about what happened during that time period?]

Anonymous: A dwarf planet was what they called us. It was almost as if they only believed that those on Earth were the only living souls with nature and animals in this entire world. I’ve heard a lot about the universe called Earth. The living souls on the grounds of that planet has vanished for more than 100 years now. The plants. The insects. The corpse. The animals. Everything. Everything has been destroyed to its very last breath; in hopes that a miracle would come to the rescue, but all that was left was the voices and gates of death greeting the silence of the air that morning of October 16th, 2056 when hundreds of unannounced asteroid came crashing down to Earth. Believe me when I say this, the planets in the galaxies and outer space did all we could to prevent it from happening, but there was nothing we could do. Unlike, Earth, we had outer layers and shells of protection to keep the hundreds of asteroids from destroying our home planet. Do I feel sympathy or empathy for them? For that home? For those souls that are still wandering and ghosting around the town, yes. But, as a nation that was full of narcissistic people, no. I pity the way they learn and their lack of education, thinking that they know everything about the world when they don’t. The way they control and divide people by the way they look, how much money they make, how “educated” and how to rule a country. That’s some bullshit if you come to terms of it. At least here on Pluto, there’s no such thing as money, dividing everyone into categories of upper or lower class. Here, we help and share whatever we can to help our community. It’s something that people on Earth will never understand because they care too much about status and living what was once called “The American Dream.”
