Friendship Protects

The Konor system has been besieged on all sides by the forces of chaos. With imperial forces spread thin, and the ultramarines regrouping around their Gene-father, every resource available was called upon to defend the Realm of Man. Upon the bountiful Agri-world of Nethamus the food for most of the Konor system was grown and harvested; naturally chaos sought to destroy such precious resources. A small order of Adepta Sororitas had mobilized to defend the food and the innocent workers who transported it. The order of the Holy Eye are a small order, not prone to militarization; they believed that the best way to perceive the God-Emperor's will was through his tarot. However, when the forces of chaos sought to despoil their world and destroy the lives of so many of the Emperor’s servants; the Order took up arms and marched to war. Though not prone to wars of aggression or crusades they were not unskilled in combat and as they were beset on all sides the Emperor did not find them wanting. Yet their faith alone could not sustain them, and in the blasted burned fields in the eastern quadrant the Holy Eye found themselves on the brink of annihilation. One lone sister, laying on the ground plague ridden blood pooling around her, she prayed to the Emperor to save her sisters, his servants, and to unleash his wrath upon the arch-traitors. With her last breath she beseeched the Holiest of them all...and suddenly in the rear of the traitors lines a great roar was heard; from the sky came a canopy of color as the Emperor’s will was made manifest! The Adepta Astartes had arrived to bring justice to all that is evil upon this world; bearing the standard of their legion the Angelic Hooves landed amongst the traitors!

They immediately sought out the greatest threat to imperial forces; an old dreadnaught, one who strode the stars with the Emperor himself. That anyone could set eyes upon the God-Emperor of mankind and turn against his glorious vision to slaughter the innocents he once swore to protect disgusted the marines. They charged the fiend, undaunted by his might and determined to protect those in need they shouted a battle cry “FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC” and the battle was underway.

The Marines were skilled in combat, but this was a warrior who trained with the primarchs, his skills had been honed by 10 millennia of constant war fueled by hatred for all things good. As they charged the traitor let loose a blast from his cannon that saw a hole blasted straight through Cloudchaser sending her tumbling to the ground. A shout from Rainbow Dash warned the others causing the rest of the shots to miss, though ever the show off Rainbow Dash had a scorch from where a bullet nipped past her. Flying in fast and hard she hit the minion of evil hard, sword cutting straight lines through his armor; though the massive war machine shrugged them off as nothing and swung back with a giant power fist, electrical field sparking. Moments before it would have smashed Rainbow Dash to pulp, Rainbow Swoop rushes in and pushes her out of the way, getting backhanded in the process and sent flying to the ground. Seeing this and holding a special hate for betrayers from her run in with Starlight Glimmer, Night Glider rushes forward shouting “Retribution for the Betrayed!”! Her power axe smashes into the side of the traitor, slashing right through the Twin-Lascannon and shearing it in half! She only managed to savor victory for a moment though as the powerpack exploded and blasted her to the ground.

Seeing his friends fall to the ground Thunder Lane charged forward, banner whipping in the wind and he slashed his power sword over and over. The Blade crackled with Lightning, seeming called forth by his cutie mark, the Banner of their chapter seeming to shine as the weak and innocent were protected by these fierce warriors. Great gouges formed in the carapace, lighting arcing over his body shorting out systems and causing overloads. Finally Rainbow Dash stands up and shouts “FOR EQUESTRIA”! And rams her sword into the faceplate, putting an end to an evil older than any in their chapter. With the loss of the mighty war machine the rest of the traitors fled
