10 Things You Don't Know About The Mandalorian
Ever since the first season of The Mandalorian was released on Disney+ in November of 2019, fans have been very curious to know more about the mysterious bounty hunter, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal). Din Djarin is at first sent to kill “Baby Yoda” (whose real name was revealed in season 2 to be Grogu), but then ends up rescuing him and protecting him from Moff Gideon. One of the major points of curiosity, especially in the first season, was: what does Din Djarin look like under the helmet? We finally found out, but he is still a mysterious character. Here are ten things that you may not know about Din Djarin, his reactions to the Mandalorian Code, and The Mandalorian series.

George Lucas doesn’t like writing, and it can take a while. So, in 1994, it became clear that Lucasfilm’s initial plan to release Star Wars: Episode I in 1997, on the 20th anniversary of the original film, was simply not feasible, as Lucas was still far from completing the script. This also meant the that release of the Special Edition of the original trilogy, which was slated for 1996, would have to be pushed back as well, to 1997.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismIs There A 4-Hour Cut Of 'Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith?'
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith is known to be one of the best Star Wars films from the Skywalker saga, and the best of the prequel trilogy. Revenge of the Sith has some very special and memorable moments, yet there have been rumors of an original cut being four hours long. Some exist as deleted scenes on home media, and others were scripted, though whether they were shot is up for debate. Below are some scenes for the film that could have potentially been part of an alleged 4-hour cut.

Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith and face of the Empire, became one of the most feared and powerful beings in the galaxy during the Dark Times. He is also one of the greatest villains in cinematic history, with his intimidating presence and iconic mask. While his feats are great and terrible, they are also extremely well chronicled in the Skywalker saga and the numerous novel and comic book spinoffs centered on the Dark Lord. However, there is plenty yet to be learned about the fallen Jedi who was once Anakin Skywalker, both in the canonical stories and those of Legends.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismOpinion: Recasting Cara Dune Would Be Okay
By now, pretty much everyone who has their finger on the pulse of Star Wars news knows that Lucasfilm and Disney are no longer moving forward with Gina Carano's portrayal of Cara Dune in The Mandalorian or any other Star Wars projects due to her posts on social media. As expected, there is a question of whether or not the character should be recast. While some may argue that the character has a lot of baggage due to Carano and how she's being perceived now, I actually think that recasting the character could work.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismInside the Slave I: Boba Fett's Swiss Army Knife Of A Ship
The Slave I is one of the most iconic ship designs in Star Wars. The personal vehicle of infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, the Slave I immediately made an impression on me the first time I saw it in The Empire Strikes Back. Sleek, yet powerful-looking, this unique ship rises from a lying position and rotates so what was the top is now facing forward. If we were to compare it to the human body, the ship goes from lying on its back to standing and facing forward. This raised questions about how this functions, as in The Empire Strikes Back, we never see how Boba Fett boards, enters the pilot’s seat, and then takes off.

Comic Book Resources recently posted about how, in the annals of the Star Wars saga, the Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi duel was such a genius masterpiece, and I wanted to share some of my thoughts about this as well. From the time before George Lucas brought the story of the rise and eventual fall of galactic legend turned dark villain Anakin Skywalker (aka Darth Vader), we learned some important things throughout the original Star Wars trilogy about the man who would become the evil Sith Lord and servant to the even more malevolent Sith Lord Darth Sidious (aka Emperor Palpatine).

I just want to make this clear that this is just a rumor, but the hosts of Kessel Run Transmissions seem extremely confident in their sources and they are 100% convinced that the casting will go through. But, we’ll just have to wait and see until Disney and Lucasfilm makes an official announcement.

Throughout the time of the Clone Wars, there was an enemy who was feared by clones and Jedi alike. That, of course, was none other than the fearless supreme commander of the Droid Army, General Grievous. Here are ten things you didn’t know about the great general:
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismThe Real Reason Yoda's Species Is So Rare
One of the biggest unanswered questions in the Star Wars universe is the actual species name of characters like Yoda and Grogu. There hasn't been a single piece of Star Wars media that has gone into it, which is odd. The rest of the species have names (Jedi Master Plo Koon is a Kel Dor, Aayla Secura is a Twi'lek, and so on), but Yoda's species has been left unknown, which is unusual for such an iconic character. It's not just unusual for the Star Wars universe, but even media in general. Pick an alien and it has a name. Even the Predator species from the films of the same title have names.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismHow 'Star Wars' Legends Fits Alongside 'Star Wars' Canon
When it comes to fandoms, there is one question that is asked more frequently than any other and across all intellectual properties: "is that canon?" Fans desire to separate the "true" events of their favorite fictional universe from the speculation, fan theories, and online rumors and nonsense. However, a disturbing trend has emerged as a result of this, specifically within the already schism-prone Star Wars fanbase. Great stories are being shelved and overlooked, simply because they fall under the de-canonized "Legends" banner. While the events of these stories no longer line up with the films, the rich character development, innovative new ideas, and bizarre new locales found within Legends content can and have shaped Star Wars for the better.

When the news broke that The Mandalorian star Gina Carano had been fired, not many fans were surprised. It turns out, Carano herself may have been a little surprised since she learned about her own firing the same way most of us did; through a social media post. Carano had been the subject of much controversy over the last few months, but no official action had been taken until a definitive social media post by Lucasfilm saying the actress didn't currently, nor would she in the future, work for the studio.
