Climate Change is Real

And it is Happening

Climate change is real. Or at least it should become more real to people. For a while my tomatoes were growing just fine. Then they died from the hotter weather. I'm trying to keep up with the task of drilling holes in my drawers where I plan on housing my plants. I also have a plastic container that holds my zucchini, which has flowers, although this might die too. Climate change is happening. This is a fact, the weather is changing, Antarctica the continent, and the Arctic the land mass are melting. Someday we will be able to settle either. Maybe this is necessary as the population on this planet keeps growing.

The thing is, climate change is causing droughts, floods, and heat waves, which later creates famine. I'm trying to grow a garden as part of my climate change research. I want to grow my own herbs, both cooking, medicinal and magickal protection herbs all in one tiny parcel of land. With regard to the media coverage on climate change, I find it is full of exaggeration. What about what people are actually doing to take care of climate change, oh but we don't hear about this. If it really takes $140 billion per year to make adaptations to climate change, then politicians get crackin'.

Actions like ending the destructive act of forest deforestation, while helping to restore those forests could create 80 million new jobs, while bringing 1 billion people out of poverty, adding $2.3 trillion US dollars of productive growth in the climate change adaptation industry. The thing is, all trees on this planet trap carbon. The more trees that are planted, the more oxygen can be generated. Forest conservation is the act of making sure forests do not get cut down or burned to the ground like the trees in Northern California. I suppose that it is a fact in which the truth is told, with 20% of the world's oxygen we use to breathe is found in the Amazon rainforest alone.

One tree takes 50 long years to produce 6,000 pounds of breathable oxygen for about 4 people a year. Tropical forests cover less than 7 percent of Earth's landmass, which house 50% of all life on this planet. Not that we are headed to self-destruct, but it would be nice if more people put their heads together to figure out how to tackle climate change. Not only do we need to address climate change, we also need to address poverty and homelessness.

Rainforest medicine has created new cancer drugs that actually work. This is why we have to preserve our ecosystems, something that we all work towards. Forests also house 50 million indigenous tribes who do not want to change their way of life to this day, since they've been found. Forests help provide 20% of household income that indigenous people rely on to survive with. While there are 7 billion people on this planet, at least 1 billion of those 7 billion depend on forests for their livelihood. But anyway, fine don't pay attention to that man behind the curtain who does not want to pay attention to climate change. The fact is, this is our planet, and we are messing it up. The fact is that we are messing up our planet, big time. We need to start doing things like recycling plastic into a type of concrete that won't kill you when you fall on it.

Paved roads are designed the way they are because it is meant to be a health hazard that generates business when you fall over. The Man makes money off of massive injuries. However, this is another topic entirely. The point is we are getting into serious trouble on our Earth with burning fossil fuels. If stuff goes wrong on this planet, eventually, then what will happen? We need to do something already. We are all fed up with this stuff. So when are the billionaires going to get together to do something about this? Something needs to be done. Nobody is doing much or maybe it will take more research to figure out what is actually being done, because I'm sure there is something being done that is proactive about this situation.
