Artificial Intelligence on relationships.

There will come a time where our human implementation would no longer be that necessary. A time where machines perform surgeries instead of doctors, cars being able to drive themselves, Power plants being able to produce electricity to civilians without practical human effort being put in. Retail shops being able to sell goods to people without them entering the shops or even going to the supermarkets. When that time comes, we will call it the Era of Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial Intelligence is enabling computers to perform tasks which normally require human thinking to perform. It is basically about the creation of computers that can think like humans but in a better way, and that can only be achieved by giving computers lots of data about something so that they can learn from it.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is still shocking to a lot of people. When you say AI a lot of people instantly think about robots that are walking, talking, and acting like humans. This type of science fictionization is what makes humans worry about AI. Although it sounds like fiction, most of us haven’t realized that it has already became part of our lives.

The Last time you went on Instagram, Facebook, Tik-Tok or Twitter you were browsing through a couple profiles that you found interesting. They turned those Profiles into a list of data and created another list like the Profiles you liked and recommended them to you hoping that you will visit them too. This is done by Artificial Intelligence. Most of our smart phones have voice commands that help to search for things by just telling them hands free. You tell your phone that you are looking for directions to a certain destination and it will recommend different routes to take and it might even also show you better routes that have less traffic at that current moment and that is made possible by AI.

So, basically AI is not about Robots that want to take over our lives and livelihood, it’s about helping us as humans to make better choices and decisions in situations where we could have taken longer time to process the data for a particular problem. AI helps us complete tasks quicker, but most importantly it helps us connect with the people we truly care about. You come across stories of people of how they found their true Love on social media, finding friends and even people you are related too not knowing and all this is done through AI.

AI is not only helpful in businesses, transportation, or marketing but it is also becoming helpful in building relationships. When you follow someone on social media, the algorithm of that social media platform has been created to recommend other profiles that are like the profile you just followed, it has been set like that, so that you can engage more with those profile you find interesting through their social media platforms. When this happens, it connects you more with the profiles you are engaging with, which in some cases you end up trying to reach out by commenting or sending a direct message talk to the person behind the profile which will eventually lead to a relationship being formed between you and that person, and that is achieved through AI.

So, the more progresses, the more AI improves and the more it is implemented in a lot of things it means there will come a time where machines are going to start choosing for us who we should be in a relationships with, of which it has already began because if you look at the application Tinder, it creates matches for you for people you might be attracted to or share similar interest with, you think you chose those people but nah the algorithm of that social media platform made it easier for you to get want you want. Even Adult websites use this type of algorithms, but I don’t want to talk about adultery, but I hope you get what I am saying.

The future is a place where human activities are no longer that much required, but the satisfaction of fulfilling the desires of human beings is muchly required. The question is, are you going to be the one who is going to take part in fulfilling the desires of humans so that they can be more reliant on you to survive or are you going to be the one who is getting their desires fulfilled and becoming more reliant on them to survived.
