Let's Talk About Porn
Funny title right? Wrong! So, I am going to tell you a story. Actually it's quite a personal one, and it has to do with Porn. Don't get too intimidated with that word, because it's not at all what you think. I'm going to share how this addictive drug has destroyed lives, but personally, my own.
Aubreanna AndersonPublished 7 years ago in FilthyI Would Love for You to Not
The first time I heard the word asexual it was an insult; someone who wouldn’t let a guy hit on them, someone who was a shut in. That was a few years before my best friend, while driving me from campus to their house, told me I might be asexual. I didn’t know what they meant, nor how to respond, so all I said was the word, "What?"
M FinniganPublished 7 years ago in FilthyCondom-Shaming is Rape Culture
From experience, I tell you that there is mounting pressure for queer and gender diverse men to abandon condoms. I didn't have the words to express my discomfort with this phenomenon until recently, and I need to name and shame the dissuasion I've experienced adhering to condom use while participating in hookup culture.
Devyn onEarthPublished 7 years ago in FilthyScience Encourages Women to Go Bra Free
Science has had women believe for centuries that a bra is a necessary component of our everyday wardrobes and that free breasts are offensive—yeah right! Some of the biggest stars like Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, and Selena Gomez have been spotted braless, encouraging a new trend to ditch the bra. Not that it is solely about trendsetting, but studies also reveal that the once useful and ladylike accessory may be a thing of the past! Taking the plunge (see what I did there...) to braless prosperity may be difficult, but there are always alternatives.
Shaunna NelsonPublished 7 years ago in FilthyPubic Hair or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love My Muff
I have recently read Caitlin Moran's How to Be a Woman. I was struck by her chapter on body hair, specifically pubic hair and our present cultural obsession with female pubic hair (or the lack of it). She suggests that having a nice hairy muff might even be a political action. It got me thinking about pubes and the ridiculous amount of thought women put into them. Women are no longer meant to have a "dark tangle of pubic hair" between their legs. We are meant to be bald between our legs, smooth as eggs, not a stray hair out of place that might find it's errant way between someone's teeth as they go down on you.

Masturbation is a very important time in a young woman's life. However, it is very easy to get overwhelmed by the experience, especially when one is ready to upgrade to sex toys from fingers. There are so many different types, sizes, speeds, it can be a scary process. Well, have no fear. I am here to provide advice on how to pick sex toys based on the ones I picked out for myself all those years ago.
J.C. MariePublished 7 years ago in FilthyEqual Op-porn-tunity
The porn community is working harder all the time to change their culture into a respectable industry like any other. One of the problems they are going to have to deal with is Equal Opportunity. I don’t say this to point fingers at anyone, because that isn’t how you solve problems. Knowing the truth about American history, we see that without a deliberate effort to change, the racist practices of the past haunt us. Most white Americans do racist things all of the time, but I would venture that 99 percent of them aren’t racists. The problem is that some racist traits have become so ingrained in American culture that we can’t tell that they are racist. However, that’s not an acceptable excuse.
Mickey FinnPublished 7 years ago in FilthySpeak Up About Sex!
It’s a tragic shame that people will talk about their relationship and sexual desires with a friend or complete stranger who is some sort of professional, much more easily, more often and be more open and honest about all of it than they will with their significant other.
Jim VigilantePublished 7 years ago in FilthyThe Case Against Circumcision
It's almost one year since Jonathon Conte committed suicide. At the time of his death, Conte was 34. He lived in San Francisco. He suffered from depression. His depression was reportedly linked to his circumcision — the removal of the foreskin from the penis, a procedure usually performed as an infant for religious or cultural reasons.
Gareth JohnsonPublished 7 years ago in FilthyDefining Genderfluidity
Hi. My name is Brendon, and I am genderfluid. What does that mean? Well, first, let's talk about gender in general, and we'll get back to that.
Brendon CooperPublished 7 years ago in FilthyIs Your Pussy Broken?
"Maybe it really smells. Maybe it's dry as hell. Broken pussy." Rapping enthusiastically over Kalis's "Im bossy" instrumental during an open mic night in LA, Issa Rae paints a picture of what her best friend referred to as "broken pussy" in an episode of HBO's Emmy nominated series "Insecure". When I saw this episode I couldn't help but laugh out loud because Issa wittingly described two common issues women face concerning their vaginal health.
Tyomi MorganPublished 7 years ago in FilthyPorn-pocalypse!
The internet has made communication incredibly fast, and put nearly anything you want to find right at your fingertips. Being the hairless bonobos that we are, we almost instantly filled it with porn and kink. It was a huge boom for the porn industry, at first, but soon things began to sour as LimeWire and other file-sharing services became the preferred porn method (despite serious security issues with file-sharing). Then came Porn Hub, who put up old content that was no longer drawing in members for the premium sites. They weren’t the first, and now there are so many it was impossible to pin down the ground-zero for the disease that is likely going to shut down porn as we know it.
