Eleven Examples of Musical Naughtiness

Do Not Listen To Any Of These Songs If You Are Easily Offended

Introduction

I was listening to a Supercharge album “Local Lads Make Good” and the final song “She Moved The Dishes First” came on. It is anything but subtle but I still find it very funny, although many people may find it a bit too naughty for them.

Then I thought maybe I could find nine or ten more naughty or offensive songs to share with you with varying degrees of subtlety.

So here we go.

1: I'm Gonna Bring a Watermelon to My Girl Tonight by Bonzo Dog Band from Gorilla

This is probably the least offensive tune on this list about a young man getting further with his girlfriend by presenting her with ever-increasing sizes of fruit.

2: Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll by Ian Dury and The Blockheads from New Boots and Panties

Although originally released as a standalone single it was later included on the New Boots and Panties album. Rock and Roll was originally a euphemism for sexual congress so we end up with Sex and Drugs and More Sex, although Rock and Roll has entered the mainstream as just referring to the musical genre

3: Fvck You by Lily Allen

This song is quite pleasant and listening to it you could be singing along to it without realising what you are singing.

4: Fvck You by CeeLo Green from The Lady Killer

This was cleaned up for radio airplay as “Forget You” , but the original uncensored version is a really good song.

5: Just Fvck Me by Cherry Bikini

I downloaded this as an Amazon freebie and the sexual explicitness surprised even me. It leaves nothing to the imagination, unlike say the Bonzo Dog Band entry.

6: Too Drunk to Fvck by The Dead Kennedys from Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death

Seriously this is Jello Biafra and The Dead Kennedys and an anthem to what happens if you overindulge in alcoholic beverages.

7: Star Star by The Rolling Stones from Goats Head Soup

Star Star is not the actual title of this song but is titled so as not to offend people. The actual title is Star Fvcker and like the Lily Allen song you will be singing along with the chorus before you realise what you are singing.

8 C0cksvcker Blues by The Rolling Stones from The Rest of The Best Compilation

Blues from the Stones about a rent boy in London in the sixties. While I heard of this song's existence at the time I didn't get to actually hear it until this century.

9: If You Don't Want To Fvck Me Baby Fvck Off by Wayne County and The Electric Chairs from the Blatantly Offensive EP

I first heard this while watching The Darts at a concert at The Odeon in Preston in the seventies, and bought it the following day. Straight to the point twelve bar rock and roll.

10: She Moved The Dishes First by Supercharge from Local Lads Make Good

As I said before, unsubtle but very funny. A lot of the references are to sixties music and seventies artefacts such as Harvey's Bristol Cream, and lots of Drifters references.

11: Hey Santa Claus by Kevin Bloody Wilson

A very sweary take of spoilt entitled kids and Santa Claus.

Conclusion

I really hope that you haven't found this selection terribly offensive, and to be quite honest every song is in my record collection and a lot more naughty ones as well. This may give you a list of songs to avoid in future.

Although this should be under Beat I think it needs to be submitted in Vocal's Filthy Community.
