Moreover, they concentrate on the exploration of human psychology and the investigation of possible outcomes of inner strength or weakness. However, the myths of Pandora and Eve even though they are very different in all ways have not lost their appeal over the ages and present interesting stories about the mistakes of mankind and their temptation by God.

After coming back to Pandora, her story plays a significant part in giving warning about the effortless transition from a curious and disobedient individual to an enemy and even a tyrant. Demeter – the mother of all goddesses – being her own child, is the first female being ever created by the gods and, out of pure curiosity, opens the jar having been also instructed by Zeus not to do so, thus enhancing pain and misery in everything that was created. Flouting her naivety as seen in some versions of the myth, Pandora is in many cases perceived as a femme fatale, who is attracted to the bait of (forbidden) knowledge and eventually opens the jar of the gods.

Nevertheless, in the course of time, the interpretations of Pandora story went through a transformation process and some scholastics question the original one which portray her as a responsible figure. They further reason that it was her being just a tool in the hands of gods to remind humanity its punishment for Prometheus' rebellion instead of a labor of love to help human life. Here, mythology presents Pandora as a figure who can be pitied. She is a victim who did not deserve such suffering by the Greek gods with whom she was never in accordance.

Dilemma of whether Pandora is being portrayed or not, but her story supports the lesson of autonomy, challenge, and basis of iniquity. No, she was not guiltless. However, the power she was given and the mythical fight that went on above her head influenced her actions like a chord of a lyre where she is merely its string. Nevertheless, what is the storyline that she tells, she also heads us to the gods and their motives as well as our relationship with them.

This and others objections address the questions which for the second time the ethnologists of the Iron Age ask, and which are slight and sharp at the same time. Our opinion of Pandora through the Anger of the myths they upheld is able to experience a turning point and to become more durable. Whether Pandora is a sign of human nature and a tragic figure, she still remains a great storyteller that can tempt use our inner self to explore more about our own human nature and the consequences of our deeds.

To end with, Pandora's Box may not have been a box, but it should be witnessed in the arts. It resulted in the way we depict death and guilt and there is no way to measure the extent. Traditionally the story of Pandora’s box has continued to exist from time immemorial to the present day, after people whose wonder and curiosity it depicts see it as an illustration of those common alleys of human nature concerning what may tempt and confound a man’s existence.

Lastly, the myth of Pandora and her box, or jar(whichever the ways the myth is presented), still holds a fascinating appeal to everyone, in terms of age and class, today. From a warning to society of its own fears to a manifestation of the capabilities that make us humans and the implications of our choices the Pandora myth triggers us to ponder about the human nature and decisions. Over the span of centuries, the myth has grown and evolved, but its staying power in the realm of art and literature has persisted right up until now, as an evergreen expression of the complexities of the human experience as well as the everlasting temptation of the unknown. Never ceasing to question, Pandora’s story reminds that this struggle is the key to the deciphering of one’s life and perhaps even the universe.
