As a time traveler, Ava had always been fascinated by the possibilities of altering history. She had studied the past meticulously, and knew which events had the potential to change the course of the future. However, her job was to observe and document, not to interfere. But the temptation to play god was always there, gnawing at her.

One day, Ava received a mission to travel back to 1963, to the day when John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Her objective was simple - to witness the event and record any anomalies that might have caused it. But as she sat hidden in the grassy knoll, watching the motorcade approach, she couldn't help but wonder if she could prevent the assassination.

Ava had always been a rebel, and the idea of changing the course of history thrilled her. She knew that if Kennedy lived, the Vietnam war might have been avoided, and the world would be a different place. She couldn't let go of the opportunity to make a difference.

As the motorcade passed by her, Ava made her move. She ran towards the road, screaming for the driver to stop. The Secret Service agents grabbed her, thinking she was a crazy person trying to harm the president. But Ava managed to slip away, and in her haste, she bumped into a man who was standing by the side of the road.

"Hey, watch it!" he said, rubbing his shoulder.

Ava recognized the man immediately. He was Lee Harvey Oswald, the man accused of assassinating Kennedy. Ava's heart raced as she realized the implications of what she had just done. By altering Oswald's position, she might have changed the outcome of the assassination.

Ava followed Oswald to the Texas School Book Depository, and watched as he loaded his rifle. She couldn't let him carry out his plan. She had to stop him.

Ava didn't know what came over her, but she found herself walking towards Oswald, her hand outstretched. "Lee, don't do it," she said, her voice shaking.

Oswald turned to her, surprised. "Who are you?" he asked.

Ava hesitated, not knowing what to say. "I'm just a concerned citizen," she said, hoping he would believe her.

But Oswald wasn't convinced. He raised his rifle, pointing it at her. "Step aside, lady," he said, his voice cold.

Ava's heart pounded in her chest. She knew she had to act fast. She grabbed the barrel of the rifle, trying to wrestle it out of Oswald's grip. The two struggled, their bodies entwined, as the world around them fell into chaos.

The first shot rang out, and Ava felt a searing pain in her side. She fell to the ground, gasping for air. But she didn't let go of the rifle. She held on, determined to prevent the second shot.

As Oswald tried to reload, Ava kicked him in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him. She grabbed the rifle and threw it away, as Oswald fell to the ground. Ava looked at him, and realized that she had saved the president's life.

But her victory was short-lived. The pain in her side was getting worse, and she knew she didn't have much time. She crawled towards Oswald, who was struggling to stand up. She looked at him, and saw a man who was lost, and desperate for something to believe in.

"Lee, you don't have to do this," she said, reaching out to him. "You can change your fate. You can make a difference."

Oswald looked at her, and for a moment, Ava saw a glimmer of hope in his eyes. But it was too late
