This must be some joke

Chapter 1

Lazy girl sits in filth of her own making at a desk. She is unkept, obviously exhausted and looks like she’s done with life.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door

Lazy is ignoring the knocks until it becomes a nuisance. She then calls for her SO, and he doesn't answer.

Lazy gets up and opens her front door to see a person that is unnaturally smiley and obviously the opposite of the Lazy girl.

Smiley: Hello ma’a-

Door is shut abruptly but stops right before it closes completely. Smiley has stuck his foot in the doorway and urges Lazy to hear him out.

Lazy decided she had nothing better to do, so she allowed the visitor in.

Smiley observes the room and says: your home has so much potential, do you mind me asking why have you let the house get into such a mess?

Lazy: I don’t have friends anymore, and my family lives in a different state so I don’t see a need to clean if I am going to be the only one in here.

Smiley: Do you ever wish the house was clean instead of in this state?

Lazy: Well sure, but it’s not worth the effort.

Smiley: What if I told you that the product I have in my bag will ensure that you will never have to lift a finger again to keep your house clean and organized?

Lazy: I’d tell you you're full of shit, but I am intrigued. What do you have?

Smiley pulls out spray can that says, “Get ya shit together spray” and hands it to Lazy

Lazy: You’ve got to be kidding me? Do you think I am an idiot? Get out of my house, and take your sugar water with you. She shoves Smiley out and throws the can at him.

Smiley continues to bang on the door, pleading for Lazy to take the can. Please, I just want to help you

Lazy ignores him and walks back into her room, then puts some headphones on and lays on the bed. She falls asleep.

Lazy awakes hours later, it is dark outside and the encounter with Smiley felt like a weird dream. Lazy runs to her front door and opens it. No one is there but a small box is perfectly placed on the welcome mat with a business card from Smiley. Underneath the business card is a letter that reads “Just try it, the first can is always free. If you need more, you know where to find me ;)”

Lazy mumbles: What in the actual hell? Then takes the box, clears a spot off on the counter and opens the box and picks up the can to observe it. As it zooms into the can it becomes obvious that the “label” is hand written and looks sketchy.

Lazy: This looks like a whole bunch of nope, it’s probably just some prank. She sprays her sink of dirty dishes with the unknown substance and waits for something to happen. Nothing does happen and Lazy shrugs, throws the can away and jumps into her messy bed to watch late night adult swim.

An hour or so later Lazy comes back into the kitchen and discovers that the dishes aren’t in the sink. She checks the cabinets and sure enough the dishes are put up.

Lazy is shocked and starts spraying everything. But nothing happens and she is confused. She sits at her desk for hours and eventually ends up passing out.

When she wakes the house is clean and for the 1st time in days she felt like going outside. She walks past her “garden” that she stopped tending to once her manic episode vanished. Lazy runs inside and grabs the can and sprays her entire garden. Once again she waits for the spray to start working and nothing happens. She is determined to see this magic in action so she waits all night, and nothing changes. SHe ends up dosing off and wakes when the sun is shining directly in her eyes. Her garden is huge and magnificent with countless types of fruit and veggies that were ready to be harvested. Trying to get out of work, Lazy attempts to spray an apple tree and discovers she is out of spray.
