The Vocal + Assist Lost in a Story Challenge has made a big splash. Several Vocal creators have enjoyed crafting their personalized narrative within the framework of a well-known story, film, or television show. Imagine the delight of inserting yourself into Dr. Seuss' renowned "Green Eggs and Ham" or becoming a character in an episode of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show." It's a fun way to engage with familiar stories.

Thank you Darnell for this great challenge idea. Thank you also for your brilliant work in both the Vocal and Facebook communities. I want to thank the Vocal creators that have participated in this very fun and creative challenge. I wasn't expecting this to go over as well as it did. Gee, two Top Stories and even the original announcement of the challenge became a Top Story and amde it onto the leaderboard as an Honorable Mention for Most Discussed Stories. That made me really, really, really happy!!!

But, there is still time for more Lost in a Story challenge entries... So come on if you haven't entered you can still do it or if you've already entered once you can enter again.

Once again thank you to all the creators that have submitted stories. Each and everyone is a brilliant work of art.

Here's one for the collection. https://vocal.media/fiction/great-white-7x8n0d25

  • I've read all of these stories except for the ones by Erin W M and D A Ratliff. I'll be getting to them soon. I joined V+A on Discord but I don't know how to use Discord very well, lol 😅

  • You're getting a fun collection there. I'd read over half of them already. My big question is how I missed reading yours!

All the unofficial challenges that are running right now are amazing, but I love the creativity behind this one and the entries I've read so far have been exceptional. Definitely looking to bombarding with more of my sideswerve takes on classics! Well done Rick!
