She suddenly realised she might be alone for the rest of her life. Staring into the wide amber open space in front of her, she was slowly contemplating her life. It had now been two weeks since running away, as much as she preferred to be alone in life, this maybe it for her. It felt like paradise, but at the same time, she felt like she was in a prison in paradise. Every day she would recline in the pilot's chair, bring food and drink, and stare out at the view. Now two weeks down the line, she was starting to get bored. Every day was the same routine, the Sparrow needed adventure, it was time to look for it, it was time to go to a planet.

The adventure would start tomorrow, it was getting late, and tiredness was slowly creeping up on her. She found some weights near the bed so started to exercise in the day, it made her feel better in herself and it was tiring work, it's what she needed. It also kept her mind off Karen. One day she scoured the bedroom area and found some notepads, puzzles and drawing books. Most days are now spent colouring in and doing puzzles, she found it very therapeutic and relaxing.

As much as she enjoyed these days she needs a bit more adventure, she had to go to a planet. Maybe land on a moon and explore the wide world, the possibilities are endless. Squirming around in the chair she leant on her left side and curled up to get comfortable. The view in front of her was bliss. Yellow amber clouds floated in the black space, millions and millions of stars glowed and a giant yellow planet with a white ring was nearby. Maybe this should be the first stop.

Tiredness slowly crept up on her. Images of Karen’s face kept flashing in her mind, those nightmarish visions kept occurring. She needed something to help stop this. Tomorrow she would search the whole ship to see what other entertainment sources she could find.

The planet nearby sparkled, stars surrounded it, and an asteroid belt was in orbit, nothing seemed a threat. There was a radar that bleeped whenever anything was a threat, she always managed to escape it. Slowly she sat up, pressed a few buttons, and was then traveling towards the planet. It estimated ten days until she arrived. Ten days and she would arrive at her first adventure. She wonders what awaits her. But tiredness takes over and the need to go to bed is imminent.

She drags herself up from the chair and towards the bed. Falling on the bed she wraps herself up in the duvet. Staring towards the bathroom door she was thinking about what will wait for her on this planet. There could be aliens, monsters, dinosaurs... on a planet? Who knows what lies in space. Karen's face keeps flashing up every few seconds in her brain, those nightmarish visions, she can’t stand them. She must find a computer, ipad or DVD player to watch to help keep her mind off her. The puzzles are helping, but when she finishes them, she keeps getting those nightmarish visions. It is now time for the Sparrow to move on. Time to forget the past and move on to the future.

She turns on her back and looks at the ceiling. The smooth silver metal ceiling. She closes her eyes and tries to shut her mind. But Karen's face flashes into her mind. Short blonde dirty hair, blue striking eyes, sharp nose and a little white scar on the left side of her lip. Karen had a very distinctive face the Sparrow couldn’t forget. That devilish smile got the girl every time, she hated it. Back in the day it was a sign Karen had won. After the girl escaped, she never saw Karen again, she just couldn’t get her face out of her mind. She felt a tang of guilt every so often, but she couldn’t go back to prison. It was hell, it was torture, it was punishment. She couldn’t live like forever. Now lying asleep in her bed in space she was finally free. Slowly fading into a deep sleep Karen's face was swirling in her mind.
