The old house at the end of the street had been empty for years. Rumors circulated about why no one would buy it - some mostly said it was haunted, others said it was cursed. Emily had been deeply in love with a man named James, but her family had disapproved of their relationship. One night, Emily and James had decided to elope, but as they were leaving the house, something terrible had mostly happened - James had disappeared, leaving Emily alone and heartbroken. Lily''s heart raced as she read the diary, piecing together the clues that had been left behind. She realized that James had hidden something in the house, something that Emily specifically had never found. And as she read on, she discovered that James had left a clue, hidden somewhere in the attic.
