The Righteous and the Wicked.
Twisted branches of a family tree. #Shockwave500

Dotting her warped vision were tiny lights spackled across a blackened canvas — constellations representing fading memories in a mind held captive by the mind itself.
Blood pressure is 70 over 50. Pulse rate 52 BPMs. Induce 50CCs of hydrocortisone and prepare her for the emergency procedure.
The illness, proliferating without prejudice, sought Judith's crucifixion like countless others in years past, devouring her essence in the same debilitating way...
Invaluable work with charitable affairs once earned her the key to the City of Milwaukee, given to her in front of a crowd of cheering spectators by Mayor Paul Daniels himself. In his first year of service, President John F. Kennedy attended the ceremony...
Inside her body was a different type of crowd. An angry crowd of traitorous cells that once worked in harmonious precision to keep her alive. Now, they targeted her pancreas and other vital organs, unperturbed by medicines or radiation. The signature signs of an unreasonable cancer...
We need to start immediately! Get Doctor Priem up here now! His expertise is required sooner than expected!
Unresponsive to stimuli, Judith remained in an unreachable world. But in that world, she knew exactly what was happening. She was dying...

Reaching with translucent fingers, Judith's astral hand aimed for one of the lights. When a connection was made, the union overcame her, consuming her entirely in a blazing shine of white sparkles. In an instant, she was transported to a vivid memory — the day her father revealed a disturbing dark side. His twisted methods of harassment took a toll on her and her entire immediate family, often threatening to smash their fingers with a hammer or locking them in the basement.
The impact of those frightful times guided Judith's path to helping others. In that moment, she prayed that none of her children inherited the evil genes of a troubled man now six feet under. She forgave him and let go of it all, following the light further into the ether...
"The caesarean section was a success... Unfortunately, your wife didn't make it. Your child is six weeks premature and hanging by a thread. We're doing everything we can."
"Thank you... Judith was an amazing person... a fighter! She loved everyone! She always wanted a boy and said if we had one, she wanted to name him Jeff. Please put Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer on the birth certificate. All we can do now is pray that the little guy survives."
