The universe as we know it no longer existed. A new era had begun where the multiverse collided into one living space. It started when generations of scientists noticed the parallel universes' evidence and figured out how to unlock the portal. They were considered the elders and the peacekeeper. All beings lived in coexistence, but some were trying to gain more force to rule the multiverse. A war was brewing on the horizon. According to the prophecy, the next generation of peacekeepers would come from different beings. They would have incredible power but won't realize it until being guided through a transformation.

Pixel

A young couple with their baby walked into a small cafe. While they were sitting down, they noticed a little girl stood by their table. The little girl was probably five years old. She had long blonde hair. Her skin was pale, and on a closer look, almost translucent, and her veins had electric current coursed through them.

She was mesmerized by the baby. It's almost like she had never seen a baby before. She reached out her hand to the baby.

The couple looked at the little girl in awe, realizing that she's different.

"Sensel, come here!" A lady shouted at her. She was wearing an apron with skin almost as pale and translucent as the little girl.

"What do we learn? we learned that we would not bother the customers!" she said.

"Yes, mom!"

"Now go play inside!" Sensel ran to the other part of the cafe.

"Sorry about that, cookies on the house!" She told the young couple.

Her name was Pixel. Pixel came from a different universe and was considered a pixie -- an old-spirited being that walks the galaxy. Sensel is her child, a result of her rebellious love affair with a human being. The little cafe she owned was on the human being's side of the universe. For a sense of normalcy, some human populations kept a tiny part of the universe the same before the collision. In this part of the universe, everyone would have to "act" human and follow human law.

After serving the young couple, she took off her apron and told one of her employees to take over.

Her short black jet pixie haircut and pale skin made her look like a living mannequin. She changed her clothes to black leather jogger pants with a crystal-embellished tank top. She wore her shimmering black jacket and left in a hurry on her motorcycle.

She finally arrived at a bar. The bar building had two different facades on the outside, with half of it in a glimmer. It was in-between two universes, which could be dangerous. Since each universe would have its law depending on what side you stepped on.

The bar was known to shelter rogue beings. Inside, a dome ceiling with stages floating on top connecting from one side to the other. Exotic dancers with feather costumes were dancing on the floating stage. Pixel's light teal eyes scanned the area. She was looking for a being called "The Petty." The Petty possessed the power to play any musical instruments and put anyone who listened in a trance. Unfortunately, they were rare beings, and only a couple exists every century. They grew backward, usually as an old man with a humped back when they were a baby and young person when they're older. But always, with a humped back, they would try to hide the hump with their clothing.

Usually, the elders would have a complete grip on their lives, but the one who went rogue would be in this bar.

She went outside and saw a man and a woman just arrived on the other side of the building. They were looking around, and when they saw her, they gave her a dirty look.

They are called the shtarga and they were insect shapeshifters. They had been killing Pixies by sucking their life forces. It all started when they realized pixies carry electrically charged current in their veins and would help the shtarga lives longer. Pixies were naturally strong, but their ability diminished when they have a child outside their beings. So if they would like to keep their power, it would have to be transferred to inanimate objects.

"This is not good. I need to get to the sacred ground. I can fly from here, but I don't want to make a scene in front of the humans," Pixel thought. She took a deep breath and tried to look for a way out.

The Petty

On the other end of the multiverse, the elders gathered in a substantial dome-like structure. Inside, there were observation rooms stacked on the wall up high. The rooms are all connected and have all kinds of babies' toys, furniture, and musical instruments.

They were all sitting in rows while watching the rooms.

"He has grown so much. Look at him", whispered one of the elders while pointing the being inside of the observation room.

A short old man with a greyed curly hair and a humped back rode a toy horse with joy in one of the rooms. His energy and child-like behavior were so exciting to watch. He then started to play the piano beautifully. The music was almost magical. Then, finally, he stopped playing and ran to the other room where a string instrument practically similar to a guitar lay on the floor. He picked it up and observed it.

The elders gasped, knowing that it would be the last step to complete the transformation when he played the instrument. The old man started to pluck the strings and play the most beautiful song. The elders look relieved and said, "There it is... That's the Petty"

The mother was looking at the old man, proudly said, "That's my baby."

The Sacred Ground

The first portal to ever existed was in a space called the sacred ground. The ground itself was like a maze. It had different landscape levels, and the top part was a vast green grass field surrounded by forest. The elders put all objects from the first portal inside a small wooden shed on the top level. No law is applied here since the portal destroyed the natural order of things.

Two huge tree branches intertwined marked the entrance to the ground. Right next to it was a carved tombstone.

It says, "Come as you are. The real power is within. The power of all and the power of thee."

Pixel managed to reach the ground. She contacted Adi, her human friend, to meet her at the bottom level.

Pixel came from an ancient line of pixies, and she knew what the tombstone meant. Humans do not have power that will trigger the imbalance of the ground. The only way Pixies' powerful objects could enter if it's in the hand of a human being. That's what Adi was for, to hold her jacket. The shimmering jacket was no ordinary jacket. The shimmer will blind the insect-shaped shtarga. Adi had helped Pixel in this kind of situation before. He loved the adrenaline rush. The Shtarga had to enter the ground as insects, usually in the form of grasshoppers.

"I need to get to the shed where the elders kept the antiques. I know it's dangerous to be at the ground this late, but I have to find it", she thought to herself.

She couldn't wait for Adi any longer. She left her jacket by the tombstone and started walking in. She emptied her mind as if the ground could read it.

After hours of walking, she spotted the shed. Carefully, She went inside and turned the light on. There is a couple of shelves with a lot of antiques. She saw a life-size polar bear taxidermy right to a cupboard on the backside.

She felt tingles all over her body. "I know it's close."

She can feel familiar energy came from a small polygon box on the shelf. She opened the box and saw the heart-shaped locket from the love of her life, a regular human being named Erwin, father of Sensel. A long time ago, she transferred some of her power to this locket, and he hid it in the shed. As soon as she touched it, she could feel electricity all over her.

The light on the shed started buzzing. Pixel knew that she had to go.

Shtarga as an insect would do better in the dark, and she knew she was surrounded.

Pixel opened the shed door to peek outside " The little bugs are everywhere, and I don't have my jacket!" she thought.

All of a sudden, Adi shouted from the lower level.

"Wait over there! Keep the light on!"

"Hurry up! "The grasshopper on top of the moss stone is staring at her. "The grasshopper saw me!" yelled Pixel.

Adi ran to her and threw her the jacket, and then tied his shoes.

"What are you doing?" she shouted at him.

"To be more comfortable," he grinned, showing her his high-top Adidas sneakers.

"..We need to run as soon as I turn off the last light! Ready?"

"Ruuuuunnnn!!!!!"
