It was 1883. James "Jimmy Boy" Cosgrove was a petty criminal with a grand plan to rob a train carrying one of the biggest shipments of gold traveling from the East to the West Coast. Jimmy Boy was a low-level member of the notorious Mountain Tops gang, but he believed he could pull off the heist alone.

However, James was unaware that some gang members were also planning to rob the same train on the same day. They executed their plan flawlessly, leaving no evidence that it was the Mountain Top gang.

James arrived at the train tracks, ready to execute his plan, but was shocked to see that the train was already robbed. He panicked and tried to run but was caught by the Sheriff.

The court found James guilty of train robbery, knowing he was part of a gang that had robbed other trains. Despite his protests of innocence, James was sentenced to hang.

On the day of his execution, James regretted his decision to rob the train, but a smile manifested on his face. He knew that the Sheriff knew he was a member of the gang. As the floor under his feet fell away, he laughed.
