Amazed, Malden traced his fingers through the carvings left through the centuries in Latin, Greek, and Norse. All detailed the treasure within.
“Show me.”
The telegraph chittered away as the sun set over the city, the Adhan echoing off the white-washed walls of Tehran.
The man took the transmission, quickly absorbing the dots and dashes before throwing the strip into the fire. A map of the city sat next to the telegraph, and he searched for the station the message indicated.
Finally, the traitor Gregor's sentence would be pronounced. The other imperial dog? Well, that would be a pleasant bonus.

Life has taken a hectic turn over the last few weeks, and these may be a little sporadic in the coming weeks. I always want to ensure they're getting the proper amount of TLC.
I’ll be keeping these stories in the fiction community for now, but am already working on the next series which I’m debating moving over to Chapters. More to come.
