It had been a long and arduous journey for the group of college friends. They had been on the road for hours and finally, around midnight, they made it to their destination. It was a dark and desolate stretch of road, and even with the full moon's light, it looked like a ghost town.

The group had heard about a haunted mansion in the area and decided to check it out. As they pulled up to the entrance, they were taken aback by its eerie appearance.

The mansion was a large and imposing structure. It was in disrepair and there were no lights on. The windows were boarded up and the grounds were overgrown with weeds.

The group stepped out of the car and walked up to the entrance. The door creaked open with a loud sound as they stepped inside. The interior of the mansion was even more eerie than the exterior. Everything seemed to be covered in a thick layer of dust and cobwebs.

The group made their way through the halls, exploring the various rooms. As they went, they noticed strange noises and movements coming from the shadows. They had no idea what was causing these noises, but it was clear something was wrong.

The group eventually made it to the attic of the mansion. This was where the real horror began. As they opened the door, they were met with a gruesome sight. A gruesome sight of dozens of corpses, all in various stages of decay.

The group quickly shut the door and ran back out of the mansion. They had seen enough and knew it was time to leave. Once they were back in the car, they drove away as fast as they could.

No one in the group ever returned to the mansion again. They never spoke of it or even mentioned it to anyone. It was as if the mansion and all its horrors had been erased from their minds.

But even though they never spoke of it, the horrors of the haunted mansion still haunt them to this day. Whenever they are alone in the dark, they can still feel the presence of something sinister watching them. It was an experience that none of them will ever forget.
