Lila was known throughout the village for her kind heart, her gentle nature, and her infectious smile. She lived with her parents and two younger siblings in a modest home at the edge of the village, surrounded by lush green fields and towering trees.

One day, strange things began to happen in the village. People reported seeing shadows moving in the corners of their eyes, hearing strange whispers in the night, and feeling an inexplicable sense of fear and dread. Rumors began to spread that the village was cursed, and that an evil presence had taken hold of it.

Lila was one of the few who remained unafraid. She went about her daily routines with a sense of calm and peace, as if the strange happenings were simply a figment of everyone else's imagination. But one evening, as she was returning home from a visit with a friend, she saw something that chilled her to the bone.

A figure was standing in front of her home, its features obscured by the darkness. Lila could feel its malevolent gaze upon her, and she froze in fear. She tried to run, but found that she was rooted to the spot. The figure advanced towards her, and as it drew closer, Lila could see that it was not human.

It was a demon.

The sage agreed to help, but warned the villagers that the process would be difficult and dangerous.

The ritual to banish the demon began at midnight, in a dark and secluded clearing in the forest. The sage led the villagers in a series of chants and incantations, their voices rising in unison as they called upon the gods to aid them in their quest.

As the chanting grew louder and more intense, Lila's body began to thrash and writhe. The demon inside her seemed to be fighting back, lashing out with all its power in an attempt to resist the banishment. The villagers pressed on, their determination unyielding, and the chanting grew even louder.

Finally, after what seemed like hours of intense struggle, the demon was expelled from Lila's body with a deafening roar. Lila's body lay motionless on the ground, her eyes closed and her breathing shallow. The villagers rushed to her side, fearing the worst.

But as they approached her, Lila's eyes snapped open. They were no longer filled with fear and dread, but with a sense of peace and calm. The villagers knew then that their ordeal was over, and that Lila was free from the demon's grip.

In the days and weeks that followed, Lila slowly returned to her old self. She laughed and played with her siblings, and spent long hours chatting with her friends.
