Eye
I was locked in a dark room. I wasn’t sure for how long, it could have been weeks or months. It felt like years. I couldn’t see much, but everyday I heard noises and saw what looked like a disembodied eye stare at me. I heard the noise again. “I don’t know what you want. I’m no longer afraid of you. Why am I hear? I want to go home,” I shouted. I heard laughing. “We like to watch,” a voice said. “We?” I asked when the eye appeared. One by one, I saw hundreds more disembodied, glowing eyes appear.

The Rancher
I was rounding up my sheep when I heard the wolves howl. “These are my sheep,” I hollored and shot my rifle in the air. The howling stopped. Then I heard a rustling in the trees. I froze in fear, staring in the distance. A giant blob monster knocked over every tree in site and was now staring at me with a gross green beady eye. My heart raced. I attempted to shoot but my rifle jammed. It swallowed me. I thought I was going to die. I shot again, and the monster is now a trophy on my wall.
