The sweet
It was at 4.30 AM. The sky was full of stars and no moon. The Toyota Innova I was taking back home from work was rushing past the Worli Sea Link amid the nocturnal sky. Unlike other days, I was reluctant to peek through the window and gaze at the breathtaking design of the cable-stayed bridge, dreaming of driving a red convertible along this road, feeling the wind in my hair, carefree while David Bowie's Hero played in the background. But not this day.

Red Button
I pressed the red button and everyone around me lost their memory. There was confusion on everyone's face but strangely enough, they were somewhat relieved as a heavy weight was taken from their shoulders. Yes, you guessed it right, memory is the biggest burden that all of us carry even if we do not want it. And even good memories often become very painful, worse than bad memories.

Where Do We Go, The Ghost Know
Blinking and moving my head while slowly looking from side to side, I noticed that am in what looks like a swamp. I see a small pound that looks like it could only be three feet deep but could possibly be a lot deeper. Squishy mud and tall grass surrounding the pond and many many dead trees. I walk over to one and touch it, and even though it looks like it should be hollow, it feels very much alive to me. Turning around I notice four other girls lay near me. I walk over to The pond and try to assess the damage to me and I get a good look at my face. I have light brown skin and my hair is cut in a bob of curls, I think it really suits me but the dirt around my face and body and clothes.

Nightjar . Top Story - August 2023.
Deep within a densely fog laden forest, in a secluded area even advanced hikers dare not enter, nestled deep within the mountains, a Nightjar was perched on a branch, inquisitively observing the world below. Despite the fact that it was a warm summer evening, the fog was so dense it kept most of the heat out of the area. The nightjar's sharp eyes caught sight of a happy family setting up camp near a tranquil river, and wondered why they’d choose a spot where they could barely see ten feet in front of them.
