The Search For Andromeda
Chapter One: Echoes of a Forgotten Galaxy In the year 2457, Earth had become a husk of its former self—a planet of metal and glass, suffocated by the relentless advance of technology. The sky was perpetually overcast with the smog of progress, and the oceans were nothing more than lifeless, acidic puddles. The stars, once a source of wonder, had become forgotten relics of a distant past.

THE ROOT OF BITTERNESS
The mood on the day that Williams moves back to the Buckingham palace is rather grim and full of expectation. Being a public figure King Frederic was enthusiastic to welcome his son, but in secret, some misgivings were crawl in his heart. People of the kingdom waited for the verdict of the court that was assembled to witness the reunion. Williams, a master strategist, walked in as a penitent son who is learnt to bow before his father. Although typically such activities are left to the professionals and employees of the organization, after all the official ceremonies, Williams was reinstated and offered a job with the palace. While the kingdom’s nobility and its subjects looked at this as something positive — some as a sign of relief that no factions were atop factions ruling the kingdom, others as the lie — there most likely was very rich tension behind this facade. Williams appeared to be obedient more so when claiming to be a good son ready to follow his father’s instructions. However, in the actual context, there laid even more severe plan of action. Henry, who was the king’s chief council of advise, was plotting a coup by influencing both Frederic and Williams. Henry of Essendor devised the strategy that entailed establishment of a royal guard which would be disheartened so that they could not thwart the coup when it would be implemented. This was the ideal time to stage the affair during a private dinner in honor of Williams’ homecoming; the only guests were immediate family and a few strategic lords. Just when Frederic planned to address the issue of reconciliation, Williams’ signalled his men to physically ejection all the loyalist out of the room. Williams then confronted his father and speaking no word of temperance ruthlessly shot him dead to gain a shot at the throne. When Frederic was no longer alive, Williams quickly neutralized all possible competition and took the power in the palace into his hands. He quickly took the reign and legitimise the change of power to the court. His assured tones made the people in the room feel the tension.

See the Light Chapter 1 Bound in Darkness
The Endless Days I lost track of time in those wretched places they put me at night where the walls seemed to close in on me, as if they too were conspiring to make my captivity unbearable. Each day felt like an eternity, the hours stretching endlessly, while the nights dwindled into mere moments of restless, haunted slumber. The world outside was changing rapidly, the days growing longer, the nights shorter, as if the very fabric of time was being pulled and twisted around me…

See the Light Chapter 1 Bound in Darkness
Chapter 1 “Are you a spy?” The voice cut through the dense fog in my mind, its tone as sharp as a blade. Spy? My thoughts twisted in confusion, grappling with the accusation as I lay sprawled on something cold and unforgiving, the chill seeping into my bones. My eyes remained closed, but the pain was already a steady drumbeat in my skull, each pulse a reminder of how far I was from understanding anything.
