If Walls Could Talk
If walls could talk, the secrets they would reveal would be enough to fill volumes of books. They would tell stories of love and loss, triumph and tragedy, of the lives that have passed through their doors and the events that have unfolded within their confines. The walls of the old, rundown mansion on the outskirts of town were no different. They had seen everything from the extravagant parties of the wealthy elite to the quiet, solitary lives of the reclusive owners. And they had kept all their secrets close, until one day, they could no longer keep silent.

The Voice of Intramuros: A Historical Fiction Story from the Perspective of a Talking Wall.
If walls could talk, the stories they would tell. The Intramuros in the Philippines had seen it all: the rise and fall of empires, the struggles and triumphs of the people within its walls. Confessions of a Hotrod
The water is close to freezing as I hit it hard, but my body is in good condition and functions well, responding positively to regular exercise and careful maintenance. Still warm after recent exertion and the short, brisk walk in a ski jacket from the Union railroad station in the late evening, I know that my life is ending now.

The Walls of Pompeii
If walls could talk, they would tell us stories beyond what we could imagine. Some walls stood the test of time, remaining standing after hundreds of years. The sights they’ve seen and the wonders they’ve experienced would be beyond human understanding.

Wonder
If walls could talk, would you want them to? To hear the wallpaper whimper out all those wanton recollections to the rows of tomes lined and listening on dusty shelves. The stories and secrets that collected in the creases of the crown molding, the memories made in front of those unapologetic voyeurs, the high up rafter beams. Tawdry details woven into the fabric of every ornate tapestry hung before the blinds. What would you want them to say if given the impossible chance to speak the language of their creators? If walls could talk, would they not also weep?

The Silent Witness: If Walls Could Talk
If walls could talk, I would have quite the story to tell. I am the western wall of a magnificent castle that stands tall in the heart of a medieval kingdom. My rugged stones have stood the test of time and I have seen the rise and fall of kings and queens, the comings and goings of armies and the triumphs and tragedies of countless generations.

Heliotropism, Sunflowers and Moonflowers
If walls could talk of the wonderous beauty that surrounds them, that changes with the seasons, and brings us sunflowers in the summertime. Although encased in stone, mortar and concrete, we rather look forward to seeing the world in beautiful shades of glorious wonder. I would speak of the lovely flowers which share a joyful smile with me, especially in the bright sunshine when the world comes alive with much excitement, children playing, beaches filled with happy faces, and birds of every species cawing delightfully overhead.
