The Vase of Ice Holding Flowers, Frozen Forever Fresh
Prince Llewellyn stopped to wipe the sweat glistening off his brow and tug at his normally silky jet black hair clinging to his neck and cheeks. His life-long best friend, betrothed, and beloved, Zoe, twisted around when she realized he was no longer in step behind her. Man From The Shadows. Content Warning.
Man From The Shadows Olive cracked open the door of the rundown shack where she and Beth, her younger sister, were hiding. The air that rushed in was cold and crisp, carrying with it the subtle warning of doom. An eerie fog hung thick and low over the cobblestone road that ran past the rickety old dwelling. Weeds forced their way through the cracks, but showed no sign that the Dark Elves of Evrade had been pursuing them. She knew differently, though. For the better part of six months, they had been running. There was something in the air, though; the energy of the night was more electric somehow. She could still feel the threat that pressed in on them, but there was something different as well. She narrowed her eyes to try to see beyond the shadows.

Nourished by the Moon
She slipped through the back screen door into the darkness of the lush tropical garden leading to the center space where the true face of the moon was being revealed. Goddess Luna was beckoning her for another song tonight… she sensed her feet moving forward in small steps as they deeply enjoyed the warmth of red Mexican tiles wrapping around the curvature of the saltwater pool under the tall mimosa tree. A great silence enveloped her entire body.

The Accused

My fathers look was fearful, it was as though he had seen a ghost.
