Isabella's Dream
There weren't always dragons in the valley. In fact, when I was a child, it was a dramatically different scene than the one before you now. The magical creatures of the valley were all but gone and the rainbow canvas we view today had then turned to dreary shades of gray. Our beloved mystical trees were barren, silent and lifeless while our crystal waters had become murky, stagnant and dangerously infested with parasitic, bottom dwellers. The people were plagued with viruses and diseases, many dying well before their time. Even the air was different back then; always damp, heavy and cold under a gloomy, sunless sky. You see, the light had left the land taking with it all of our magical color and mystical beauty. Our world was on the edge of disaster and in grave danger of falling into complete darkness. Thinking back now, I still get chills remembering the pervasive fear that permeated our days. I am Isabella. My story will be shared for generations to come, but I did not know it back then.

Burning Dragons
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. But when they finally came we registered a new kind of terror, and it was paralyzing. We only left our handmade homes at night, and only when our resources were almost gone. We hardly spoke to each other, and if we did it was in a tense whisper. We glanced around feverishly while out of our homes, as if there had never been a time when we walked the earth freely. We were so scared that we were barely living. Our hope was fading, and madness was setting in slowly for some.

Curse of the Dragon Scepter
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. They resided in the high mountain passes where natural and dwarf made tunnel systems acted as cozy homes for them. Humans didn’t know this, but dragons were primal beings that fed off of the flesh of the earth. Their main food source was gold and gems, not plants or living meat. The dwarfs, knowing this, mined these minerals to bribe the dragons into lighting their forges so that they could, in turn, manufacture the iron weapons used for trade and their own protection. This symbiotic relationship kept all content, so the dragons would never leave the mountain without cause. Princess Orillia had been that cause.

The Seventh Streza
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. No one was sure why they had descended on the region so suddenly after generations of dwelling on distant mountaintops, but the realm was suffering from their constant depredations. Our professor at the academy, selected us to deliver some papers to an Orgallan research center, in hopes that they could ameliorate this plague. We pressed on in a mountain pass, hoping the red banded badlands would discourage the flying monstrosities.

"Boots and Saddles"
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. I gazed down from the high ridge, to follow the river winding its way lazily through the thick jungle covering the valley floor. I had grown up in a village at the far end of the Valley. The river began as a stream way up in the mountains at my back. I had one pet dragon back then. As a soldier, I’ve trained and flown enough dragons to choke a whale! I adjusted my visor, the sun was setting, the glare pained my eyes.

Dark Smoke
From what the elders told the children here in Fun Valley, there weren't always dragons in the valley. I heard the elders' old stories over the years, but I never thought these magical stories were true until I met a dragon named dark Smoke. To better understand how I met this dragon, let me start at the beginning of my adventure. I was walking in the forest of the fun valley when I walked upon a cave that I had never seen before. Now I am not a fan of dark places, but this cave kept calling out to me for some odd reason. I had to face my fears and investigate the cave, and when I took the first step into the cave, I heard someone or something call my name.

The Dragon Keeper
There weren’t always dragons in The Valley. The one that separates Trysik from the rest of Vyskah. Trysik, where the ruthless, cold King Shealor resides. About three months ago, Vyskah would begin to experience its downfall, or more accurately the downfall of its King. On that fateful day, the grounds shook violently. The open blue sky clouded with angry, dark plumes. They swirled and rained havoc on Vyskah. A blinding light whipped across the sky. Hot and bright. Then dragons began swirling from the skies, diving into the valley. They burrowed into caves, made The Valley their home.
