The Dragon Mage
Chapter 1: Dragon Mage Of Mountains and Magic “There weren’t always dragons in the valley,” the young man recited, “and it is not known where they first came from. But it was the dragons who brought the magic, and we who brought the ruin that caused them to turn away.”

Feven and the Treasure of the Golden Vault
Feven and the Treasure of the Golden Vault A Sleeping Dragon Has Been Awakened There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. As a matter of fact, dragons hadn’t been seen in Abyssinia for hundreds of years. But lately, seven dark green dragons with yellow menacing wings circled high above Addis Ababa like vultures waiting to swoop down on its dying prey. There had been rumors that the Italian army was going to invade Abyssinia, but no one knew for sure. Perhaps these dragons were harbingers of the evil that was to come. Their presence should have stricken terror in the people of Addis Ababa except for one thing - they were invisible to the naked human eye. No one could see their green scaly bodies, their immense yellow wings, and their fiery red eyes except for one person – Feven. Feven was a precocious 12-year-old who loved sweets and sunny days, but not dragons. She couldn’t take her eyes off of the terror in the skies above them. The dragons flew in a circle around the sun, momentarily blotting out the light and creating a series of macabre shadows on the landscape. Feven’s mother Jamila saw her daughter staring into the sky, as if she were in a trance. Jamila touched Feven’s arm, but she didn’t respond.

The Chalciren
Make sure to check out the narration video! Without further ado: There weren’t always Dragons in the Valley. Long ago, a people fought valiantly to drive them from the land. They called themselves the forerunners, and they would not give up what little peace they found. Swords gripped firm and shields held high, they fought doggedly to whatever ends, and from the ashes of dragon fire, they stood victorious. The defeated dragons admired the forerunners bravery despite their dispute. This was not the first of the forerunner's hardships.

Steel at Dawn
STEEL AT DAWN IN ALL LIKELIHOOD Alin would be dead in twenty minutes. He squinted at the pink of dawn setting the green hills of Wesserwald afire. His head pounded, and his stomach, his stomach was not pleased. It … it gurgled, and he had the sweats.

Wielder of Magic and Rider of Fire
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. The Elders say that dragons had arisen in a far away wild land and traveled over vast forests, rolling plains, and lands dotted blue with lakes. They traversed the kingdoms of men, and from the shores of the Unending Terra, flew across the sea. Their journey was not easy, for that great expanse of water was often angry, full of violent storms. Finally, they reached land, descending from mountains capped in clouds. Below lay the verdant Valley, lush, and full of life. Here, from the foothills, rives flowed into endless meadows and tall forests stretched as far as the eye could see. This Valley lay in the heart of the Realm, a world where magic abounded. Upon the dragons’ backs, sat the Fire Riders, noble warriors of men, whose skill and strength in battle were surpassed by none living. Some Elders even say that these were no ordinary men, that they were the spirits of dragons themselves, trapped in human form. Steed and soldier perched in the rocky outcroppings of the mountainsides, surveying the Valley below, looking for what would earn them their promised gold. Exzaeless, a king corrupt with greed, had sent them, wanting the magic that was rumored to be here.

In the Shadow of the Dragon
“There weren’t always dragons in the Valley.” These were the last words Seridan heard from his father before he marched into his final battle. It’s an echo of a memory Seridan can’t bear to witness again and has been long forgotten… until now.

The Last Usher of Hazelthorn
“There weren’t always dragons in the Valley,” the barman said. “Years ago, the way through the Valley was the safest way to Ravenwall. But it hasn’t been that way for years, and the Valley is a dangerous place. Don’t know why you bothered to come here, everyone knows the Valley is closed to travelers. You’d be better off taking Basmack Way or Seaside Pass.”

Silent Dawn
Opening the book filled of dust and timeless knowledge of legends, we will start our journey in 1136, with King Fredrick Maxwell, King of the Humans, and the King of the Damned, Thorn Grimgrave. Once brothers in combat and even more, now, fighting for Mistress Death’s hand in marriage. This war would be known throughout the realms as the Shattered War, for this would break the mighty five realms of Elements, causing the Fire realm, who has the fire phoenixes and hellspawn of Hellpeak, to become violently aggressive with the other realms. The Water realm, known for mermaids and merman of Kelpshell regressed into hiding. The Earth realm, the land of the Humans of Landedge, who were decimated if not enslaved by the realm of the Damned. The realm of the Damned, notoriously known as the Oni’s of Mistfall, were best known to be the fiercest and most blood thirsty warriors. And lastly, there is the inescapable realm of torment, known as the Hollow, the realm with beasts known as Dragon shifters too deadly to be allowed to roam free. These realms would fall after the two kings, Thorn Grimgave and Fredrick Maxwell inexplicably disappeared. This destroyed the balance of good and evil, and the Hollow’s chains loosened their hold on the beasts inside. The realms would collide into one another, forming the Hollow Isles of the fallen. This last straw would break the mighty Hollow’s chain’s, freeing the Dragons in 2020. But let us back track in time and start at the very beginning.

A New Divide
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. In truth, there wasn't always much of anything here, really. The Valley was a land of not much happening most of the time. The people were dull, the days were tedious, and the months were separated by the rare occasions that anything of consequence transpired, which was never often, mind you.
