Silence on Saturn
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. It's been 10 years since I was sent here. I'm not alone but, it's lonely here. Which is not so different from the mental institution I was in. Thinking about it this was a lot better. Everyone gave up on us, the "lost ones", so we were unwillingly sent here to a place where no kid dreamed about going. Everyone always talked about Mars, but apparently, no one was at Saturn or no one was allowed to talk about It. Saturn became the place for the ones whose the pills didn't have any effect on, it's supposed to be like a prison for the badly influenced. It all started in 2040 when after an election, Noward Stuarts became president, and with it, he brought "real life" to the world. "Real life" is a drug that makes everyone "happy". As far as I knew, it makes people feel at ease and makes them robots, which is perfect for this new government. No one complains, and if they do... then Saturn is the place they are sent to. At first, it didn't sound so bad, a new world, without those rules and robots to control us. But then you find the truth about that place. Not even in my darkest nightmares, I would've imagined what I was about to see. It all started to change on the second day when one of us decided to open the door of our accommodation. That was the first mistake we made. I still wonder if things would've been different if she hadn't opened that door. But I can't blame her for doing so. There was a big sign on the door that read, "outside world". It was inviting us to go out. I think that was the idea. To create a hell out of this place and whoever survived was rewarded with a second chance on Earth. Well, at least that's what we thought. I don't know what happened after she opened the door because I passed out seconds later. I only remember seeing the blood splashing on the grey walls and the black shadow running around. When I woke up Sarah was gone and I couldn't find her. She had disappeared, her blood was there, but nothing else. The lights were out and I was alone. The silence there was deafening and I couldn't think straight. I could only feel the pressure in my head and a warm liquid running down my face. I started walking towards the living room and hoping to find others and somehow get the power back. But that was the second mistake committed that day. As I walked through the corridors my heart started pounding harder, like it was an intuition. I knew that I needed to find the others or the power. So I ignored all the signals. I felt something on the ground, something wet. I kneeled down and as soon as I got close to whatever it was something grabbed me and whispered in my ear to stay quiet. By the voice, I could tell that it was Kaile, a teenage boy who came with us. It hurt to think about what had happened to him. He was abandoned by his parents when he was a kid. The sound of his voice reminded me of the day we met, just like then, he sounded terrified. It didn't take long for us to hear the heavy steps gradually getting closer to us. At that point, my pain was overwhelmed by fear and anxiety. But part of me felt like I had to protect him. The steps stopped, it stopped right on our side. I started to freak out, the room started to become blurred and I started shaking. There was no way for us to get out of there without it seeing us. Kaile placed his hand on my shoulder and placed a finger on his lips, signing for me to stay quiet. After really long seconds, the steps started again. I could hear it moving on something wet, probably someone's blood. After a while, Kaile started moving slowly and tried to see if we could move. He grabbed my hand and started walking carefully through the bloody maze. At some point on the way, I stopped feeling his hand. I stopped seeing him in my sight, and the sound of his breathing stopped. I walked a little more and then I tripped on something kinda soft. At that point, I started praying that it was not him. I looked to see what it was, and part of me died at that moment. The kid who I watched grow up, was dead. In a matter of seconds, he died, just like it was nothing.

“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.” Tanner's words echoed in the empty silence of Rose's helmet as she drifted further from the Pilgrim. He'd said it with a smirk and an evil glint in his stormy blue eyes just moments before shutting her in the airlock. Rose was sure he meant it as a joke, but now that she was floating into the heart of space, she couldn't help but wonder if he intentionally tampered with her tethering lines. After she'd rejected him yet again, he hadn't been happy.

Space Jumper
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. But they also say you can’t breathe in space, yet here she is breathing just fine. So if she screamed right now, while being chased through galaxies, would anybody hear her? More importantly, who would hear her? She did know one person who she met quite frequently when exploring different galaxies, but that was always by chance. Who knows where he is now. He could be asleep on his home planet earth for all she knew. It's not like they had space phones to call each other, though that would be cool and she should definitely look into that. But even if he showed up, what could he do? She would be in the same position, just another person to look after, she didn't need that right now. She only needed herself, she was better on her own anyways.

Luminous
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Not because sounds don’t travel through the void. Rather, the void kills you quicker than sound can travel through it. You lose consciousness within the first fifteen seconds or so, vision turning black. Even if you could hold on to your awareness longer it would be useless. The frigid environment of space causes your body to seize as it freezes solid. You cannot fight the void, cannot bargain, cannot bribe. The void takes all, status and wealth mean nothing to her. She does not care. All are equal in her grasp.
