The FrostWing Chronicles
Chapter 9- The Calm Before the Storm Drakon and Ereadus were in the Throne room getting their weapons ready for the trek back. Tyrara and Eyrokar walked in; she was cross about Eyrokar not loving on her as she wanted. “... As I told you, Tyrara. The last time I made love without worrying about something was the night I lost Kayla! I’m sorry that you did not get what you wanted. But I promise I will do you and Eyra for an entire week after I end this war. Don’t think that I can’t. Kayla and I mated for nearly a month until she passed out. But let me end this damn wat first.” Eyrokar growled. “Alright… I accept your apology. Long have the remnants of the FrostWing Empire lived here in the shadows of the Sky Guard Empire. I will send all my twisters and Soldiers to assist you in the coming battles. Shall we meet at SpireRock as we did when we have taken out Zarrious?” Tyrara asked. “Yes, and this time… I will not falter to remove those pests who stand in my way.” Eyrokar growled. “But who will take the throne? We frost dragons can,t. the flame quartz will kill us.” Tyrara stated. “I do not know. Perhaps… Sif! You are one of my newest wives. You do not have any Frost blood within you… Are you willing to be the final push to end the war?” Eyrokar asked. “Her? She is a Mortal!” Tyrara snapped. “She is the only one I trust, and all we need is someone to sit upon the Ruby throne to claim control over the Dragunity Empire than that is what we need to do.” Eyrokar sighed. “Eyrokar… I will do what I must to end the Dragon Mortal War. But please… stay with me.” Sif said softly. “I will do what I must to ensure the war ends… I can’t promise to survive. I will be the main target. But I am more than ready to sacrifice my life to do what is right.” Eyrokar said as he turned the Tyrara and Kissed her. “What of Devarius?” Tyrara asked, “He is not like Geriothar. Devarius is a God on the Council!” She proclaimed. “He is just another obstacle. Kayla and I have killed gods before… He is no different.” Eyrokar growled. “I, too, have killed a couple of gods. But none of them were as ruthless as Devarius. And his hate for you is already immense, being that you killed his son.” Tyrara sighed. “I know what I did; his death and my father were both in revenge for me and vengeance for you.” Eyrokar sighed. “You know I can read your mind… I know this little plan of yours. How can you be so certain it will go as you plan?” Tyrara asked. “Get out of my head! I have many plans. Plans for plans. Even if I must risk my life to end the war, it’s not like I have anything left to live for.” Eyrokar sighed. “You have me, Eyra, Sif, Winter, and Aris. Even your son and Daughter. How can you be so depressing?” Tyrara asked. “I am still nothing without Kayla. You all just sit in a void too large for you all to fill. Bah, Just ensure your forces are at Spirerock. We march upon Frostheim in one week.” Eyrokar growled as he walked out the door into the icy wind of Northwind. Ereadus stopped and turned to Tyrara. “I’m glad to have met you, Grand… I mean Tyrara. Come Drakon, and we have much to still.” Ereadus sighed. “Bye, Tyrara, Loriana, Loressa, stay here. I don’t want to worry about you two outside these walls.” Drakon said as he followed His brother and father with Sif.

The Black Ibis Case - Chapter 4
The drive to Reservoir road was quiet and soothing. The air had a stillness to it that almost made me forget about the growing pains in my face and torso from the fight a half hour ago. I could see in the rear-view mirror that I had a busted lip and a cut on my cheekbone, and my side felt like it was going to have bruises for a few days. Luckily though, nothing was broken. I was just going to tough it out and tell anyone that gave me a side eye that it was a failed mugging.

The Scales of Splendor-Chapter 4: When Dragons Fly Over Water
The Brandywine River featured ships. Hests had fashioned from their government rations a low-level vessel out of scrap metal. Costerlys had designed state of the art, all-around, technologically advanced ships that followed after the dragons.

The Reed boat
Laurelle Laurelle clouds blushed pink and danced till darkness met the treetops. Meet me in the morning said Laurelle, sketch me on banks of the Oslo fjord reeds inlet amongst the dried rushes. She bathed and swam and dried herself on the shoreside in glorious morning sunshine.

Outsider: Chapter 48
Astrid had barely spoken for the past few days. Her face was fixed in an almost permanent frown. Jarl had tried to speak to her, but no matter what he said she would let the conversation dwindle until there was only silence. Since their conversation Astrid had struggled to sleep. Her eyes were rimmed with dark circles and Jarl had more than one bruise on his side from where Astrid had inadvertently lashed out in her dreams. More than once he had heard her whisper in Axtī and, worried about the questions it would raise if one of the elves on the wall heard her, he had been forced to wake her. Dwarves were not known for their love of languages, let alone for the elf common tongue.

Gantamachy Pt 1
After the absence of both Ieru and Sheol, Absolon ruled the heavens above in his Aparthenon. The Aparthenon was his temple and also his wife, with which he consummated his love of his own design. This fornication led to the birth of his three sons, Manwye, Anonwye and Elonwye. These broods slept within the prismatic cells of Aparthenon, absorbing the knowledge Absolon had of the universe through her. Absolon understood the whole universe of the above but had no knowledge of the darkness of Sheol below. From time to time, he would gaze down into the darkness to see what was happening but all he ever saw was his own likeness in the mirror that is the below. Yet every time he would look and gaze at himself, his three sons absorbed the knowledge he had of himself, making them more and more like their father. Elonwye, from within his waxy nest, dreamed that one day he would sit in the throne of his father within Aparthenon, so he sipped the nectar of knowledge from Absolon unknowingly over time.

Outsider: Chapter 46
Jarl had never seen such a wall. They both stared up at it in wonder. The wall was made entirely from living trees, and Astrid felt a pang in her chest as she wondered if her mother had ever walked through the Kaito Passage as she was about to.

Outsider: Chapter 45
“Amund, if the Har Fleinn ever comes to you and offers you the chance to be an áðr, say no. Don’t ask any questions, just say no!” Halvard groaned and leaned his head down on the table. He was so tired he felt as though his body might never feel warm again.

Outsider: Chapter 44
Jarl lifted his head slowly from the side of the bed and winced as his neck creaked. The fire had completely burned out, and outside the sky was completely black. Other than the whistle of a few birds that darted around the rooftops of Waidu in anticipation of the sunrise only a few hours away, there was silence. He groaned and straightened his back as he stood up from the chair he had pulled next to the bed. Astrid was still fast asleep under the human blanket which was large enough to fold in half twice and lay over her like a normal sized dwarf blanket.
