The Dragon's Daughter
From the first moments, Aiyana knew she was in a dream. The quality of her senses clued her in - some things were practically indecipherable, whereas others were far more clear than in the waking world. She could see and feel every blade of grass beneath her feet. She could hear every breath of wind rustling the trees around her. She could feel the warmth of the sun on her skin, but when she looked up to the sky to bask in its glow her vision was met with an indecipherable canvas of colors.

The Roar of Renewal
They came in a flash. Glances of what came before, glimpses of what would come after. Ages where the world was newly awakened, thrashing spasms echoing through the void. The celestial lights reawakening an ancient universe, instilling soul into hollow masses. The eternal dark that preceded it, shrouded the whole of the cosmos in an endless umbra. Then back to the great, living planet, full of chaotic life. The great usurpation, the great war, the great dying. The era of unlife that it all resulted in, the grey blanket that swallowed his world, Cuna Taniyn, a silvery cocoon that cursed it into stasis. But at the end of the dreams was a rupture, a fissure from which color and life flooded back into the dormant plane. There he would find his purpose, his final mission.

Warmth Without Fire
Argan the dragon was snoozing on his favourite cliff above the forest, where he sometimes caught the stray sheep which the fleshlings had grazing for a snack, one afternoon well into the summer. He loved this rock especially when it was summertime, as it was one of the few that caught the sun all the way through the sky rather than suffering from a late sunrise or an early sunset. Such were the woes of a lizard living in a valley. Why in the valley, I hear you asking? It's true that dragons are typically found inhabiting mountains, but I wonder if you knew that dragons are notoriously social creatures, and they make a great deal of their draconic abilities. A major feature of the dragon patriarchy is the ability to breathe fire, and Argan hadn't been able to do that for at least two summers.

The Gifts of the Hordedragons
Roshelle and Phonia slid through the mist covering the forest’s mossy floor. They meandered around tree trunks and brambles, following gametrails and avoiding clearings, just like they did every morning. Most mornings, though, their excited chatter made their careful hiding useless. Most mornings, they arrived at the stream between their respective dens brimming with stories to tell, gossip to share, or theories about their Horderules and set off giggling along their usual route.

Gaia
The updraft drew me further from the den than I expected. Scenting the wind, I realize I am closer to a human outpost, shifting my shoulders and angling my wings, I veer westward toward the setting sun. My ember scales dance off the sun rays, reflecting the light around me, the hawks and eagles far below scatter as they sense me above. As they should, a dragon is a being to be feared. But they need not fear me just now, as my belly is filled and my maw full of the freshly killed elk carcass I am to bring home to my brood mate and hatchlings. Besides, a small meal such as a hawk would hardly be worth any effort.

Wyvern Riders
It was a quite day. At least it was in this particular study room. The only noise came from a man named Jerome who was working hard. Pouring over a large amount of monthly paperwork. He hadn’t realized how much he was thankful for the silence until it, and his focus was interrupted by a sudden, rapid knocking on the door.

Dragon Touched
This isn’t at all what the Creators envisioned Ardaynium to be. Built and nurtured lifetimes ago, Ardaynium was supposed to be a place of wonder and magic. The Creators, beings ancient and powerful, put all they were into its erection. They gave beautiful sunrises, night skies full of stars and brilliant colors, waters so blue, and soil perfect for farming. They gave their souls to feed magic into the world, so that all of the people that came after them would have a world full of excitement.

Hissandra, Queen of Fire
In the dark forest-country of Tinsley, there was none fiercer nor more feared than Hissandra, Queen of Fire. Her scales shone like the sun as she soared through the skies. All who saw her were at once seized with dread, knowing that one wrong move could offend the fearsome Dragon sending her into a violent flight upon them. Villages had fallen to her smoldering breath for no more than a festival guitar played too loudly as she slept nearby.
