The New Great Blue Hole, or Alice Underwater
All I thought as we slowly descended was how lucky we were. The new great blue hole was recently discovered, and there was a high level of confidence that it came from an ancient asteroid strike. At the depth where all colors besides blue are absent, we saw a shimmering white oval. “Bubbles” my partner signaled. We swam down to find the source, and the second they touched us everything turned upside down. I landed on something hard, and my mask was knocked from my face. I panicked, blind at one hundred meters deep, except I was on dry land.

They Kidnapped me
They broke into my home. They dragged me out of bed. I had no idea who they were. They all had masks and black coats on. They took me to the middle of the woods. They took me inside a creepy old cabin. They put me on a cold stone table full of runic symbols. They started chanting "Raga taga laga" over and over again. One of them took out a shiny knife and held it over my chest. "No," I screamed. The knife went inside me. They opened up my chest and pulled out my heart. Everything went black.

Wake Up, Love
"Wake up, love," A voice said to me. "Who are you, and why do I really need to use the bathroom," I said. "I'm your wife. You've been in a coma for three months. You were hit by a truck," She said. "I'm up now," I said. "We missed you," she said. "Who's we?" I asked. "Me and the kids," she said. "Oh hey, guys," I said. "You smell, daddy," My youngest said. "I'll go shower," I said. I got up, showered, and spent the rest of the day catching up with my wonderful family. It's really good being awake.

WHAT IF WE LIVED ON A PLANET WITH NO SUN

All the love
We knew each other since birth. We started dating in high school. We got married after college. We had lots of kids. We raised those kids well. We retired from work. Our kids grew up. They graduated college, became successful and took care of us when we got old. We held hands every day in the retirement home. We died at the same time, holding hands. They buried us next to each other. The chemicals from the factory spill brought us back to life as zombies. We ate all our children. We slept in our coffins when we got full.

The Nightfall Chronicles
Episode 1: A Bite of Darkness David Thomas, a 22-year-old college student, walked briskly across the empty campus, his backpack slung over one shoulder, his headphones piping his favorite tunes into his ears. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow across the picturesque quad. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient oak trees that lined the pathways, their branches extending like protective arms over the students who passed beneath them.
