The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. Going from room to room trying to find her space. She realized she is trapped with nowhere to run or hide.

“Leave me alone asshole” she says as he grabs her by her waist side.

“Oh, come on baby I know you like it” he says.

There is scuffle and she quickly kicks him in the balls. He falls to the ground. She runs out the room through the kitchen into another room at the end of the hallway. This room was dark with no windows she thought. She slams the door and locks its behind her and barricades herself in with an old dresser in corner. As he is trying to gather himself from the pain, he runs after her, through the kitchen, but this time he doesn’t see her. He checks every run starting from the first door all the way down to the end of the hallway to his room. There is nothing in sight. He finally gets to the room at the end, jiggles the door and tries to come in. He quickly notices that the door is barricade and starts to yell.

“I KNOW YOU’RE IN THERE”. She doesn’t speak a word at first. She is scared and trembling at the knees.

“Come on baby OPEN THE DOOR” he yells again startling her.

As he is tries to push his way in. At this point she in backed into a corner. She finds an old metal candle stick covered up under a sheet from where the dresser was in the corner that she had moved to barricade the door. She picks it up in hurry all the while thinking he’s going to get in here and when he does, she’ll be ready this time. After picking up the candle stick, she looks in front of her and there is an old drapery hanging on the wall from where the dresser was moved. She tries pulling it down but was too short to reach. There is something at the top holding it down. She looks up above and there are old storage boxes full of heavy equipment. She is trying her best to reach it so that she can move this old drapery to see what is behind this wall. She knows she must move fast because he is getting closer to breaking the door down. In another corner she sees a broken chair with only three legs. She grabs the chair and uses a stack of books to level it out to make the fourth leg so that she’d be able to stand on the chair to move these heavy boxes above the old drapery in the corner where the dresser sat. The stand she created for herself was wobbly and consistent throughout her reach. Standing only 5 foot 2 herself made the reach even more difficult. As she’s reaching, she is trying to slide the heavy boxes over. Almost falling over several times she knew she needed to balance herself. Time was gaining on her as she looked back at the door where the dresser was barricading her in. Being able to stick his fingers through a small shaft she quickly gains her momentum jumped off the chair and ran to the door forcing her weight against it with his fingers in the door. This was her chance to slow him down and give her more time to remove these heavy boxes. You could hear him scream for miles.

“NOW I’M GOING TO KILL YOU BITCH”

Screaming from the top of his lungs with his fingers smashed in the door with so much pain anguish. Once he fell to the ground outside the door, she was able to close it shut and push the dresser back up against it. Now with time before he started to push his way back in the room, she quickly set the three-legged chair, stacked the books up under to create the fourth leg, stood on top of the chair wobbling, but balancing herself not to fall. At the door he was prying his way back in again calling her all kinds of names and kicking at the door. She knew she needed to act fast so with all her strength she pushed the boxes out the way and as soon as she did that at the same instant simultaneously the drape comes falling down, he comes busting down the door with the dresser splattering it all over while a thick piece of wood stabs him in the leg as he tumbles down to the floor and she falls off the wobbly three legged chair in a cloud of dust flying in her face. Both blinded by what was behind this large covering. A window appears with bright natural sunlight knocking them both out cold for about five minutes. After the five minutes elapsed, she wakes up with a haze in her eyes. Trying to come around and wake up before he does. In her haze of sight, she sees his foot and blood gushing from his leg on the floor. In her mind she has more time to come around and sit up so she can get up and be ready for the fight. She finally comes around and wakes up to grab the candlestick. At this point he is now coming around to as well. He turns his body around slowly to find her standing over him with the candlestick.

“Don’t move you bastard”

“So, I’m a what now?” she asked.

As she hits him over the legs with the candlestick. Screaming in pain.

“I could have had you, stupid bitch”

She quickly takes the candlestick and hits him again this time over the back and shoulder.

“Keep talking shit because the next hit will be to kill you.”

“How dare you kidnap me and keep me away from my family?”

As the rants from her get louder and longer she loses focus on him, and he gets up unexpectedly and attacks her. They start to scuffle again, and he snatches the candle stick out of her hand. He swings at her; he misses as she ducks for cover. She swaps her feet under his legs. He falls back down to the ground. He grabs her legs as she grabs the candlestick. She snatches away and kicks him. He stands back up stumbling with his back turned towards the window. He comes at again. She knew she couldn’t fight him anymore, so she throws the candlestick at him as distraction and charges him with a football tackle at full momentum. He grabs her as they both start to fall back into the window pain. A clashing sound of glass and out the window he falls below with her arm attached. He is trying pull her with him and in a matter of seconds she can free herself from his tug. She is hanging upside down halfway out the window and he has fallen to his demise. She starts to cry uncontrollably. She then wipes her tears and pulls herself back inside the house from behind the last window.
