However, the wise man has reservations about a plant known as the chicken blood cactus. He expressed dismay at some of the spiritual practices in the South Seas. Those practices often involve raising demons and ghosts and relying on evil powers to change fortunes, which is just a clever way of playing tricks. The wise man was not entirely clear about the principle of the chicken blood immortal ball, but he guessed that the chicken's grievances were attached to the immortal ball with sufficient yang, spiritual energy and anger, giving it the ability to gather spirits and block bogeys, forcibly interfering with or trapping the spirits and delaying the time when the person who is about to die is hooked

The wise man went on to explain that the chicken-blooded cenotaph uses powerful anger and yang energy to nourish itself and barely bind the soul of the would-be dead, delaying the end of their lives. However, the wise man warned people that life and death should have their own destiny, and that forcing a change in destiny would inevitably lead to heaven's wrath. He mentions, for example, a father who used a chicken-blood cactus to prolong his life, and his "son" lived at least six months longer. If he had not burned the chicken blood cactus, he might have been able to live longer. But the father later felt fear himself and did not dare to let such things continue to exist.

The wise man deeply repented of his past words, and he realized that he should not have interfered too much, just as nosy as a half-bottle of vinegar. He apologized and made a solemn promise that this would be the last time he would ever mention it and that he would never say it again.

Then the wise man turned to tell about the plant's spiritual pet, the cactus ball. He re-emphasized the benefits of the cactus ball and reminded everyone of the point that it should not be contaminated with blood, nor should it be watered with liquids like rice water or tea root water, but only water. The cactus ball itself is full of life and yang energy, and if it is tainted with resentment, it is impossible to predict what form it will take.

The wise man went on to explain in detail the breathing of the plant at night. He pointed out that plants inhale very little oxygen, far less than the mosquitoes, cockroaches and other creatures that people keep in their rooms. The main problem in the bedroom, he explained, is that too many flowers should not be placed there. From a feng shui point of view, the colors and aromas of flowers tend to confuse the mind, attracting things that are not clear, and may even make sleeping people feel like they are leaving their souls. And from a scientific point of view, the heavy fragrance and pollen emitted by flowers can produce allergic reactions to the human body, and in serious cases may even affect the respiratory and cardiovascular nerves, leading to paralysis, convulsions, and even suffocation or life-threatening.

The wise man mentioned another plant, aloe vera
