In most countries and most of the time, paranormal incidents are regarded as folk superstitions or rumors, but in South Africa, Africa, officials have formed a paranormal police force.

In September 1999, 51-year-old millionaire Rina died tragically in her South African mansion.

The police said in the investigation that she should have heard a knock on the door and then was brutally killed when she opened the door. Strangely, the blood spread from the door to the study on the second floor.

The police found a strange notebook in the study, which was drawn with the pentagram symbolizing demons and some strange symbols, as well as a killing declaration. Subsequently, they also found that on the wall in a certain corner of the first floor, someone had drawn the same content with blood.

These "clues" made the case even more strange. Through visits and investigations, Rina's ex-husband's current wife became the focus of suspicion by the police.

Her ex-husband's remarried partner is Vanette. She is very obsessed with supernatural abilities and paranormal events. Her speech and behavior are somewhat different from those of normal people. Locals call her "monster" in private.

After hearing this, some media believed that there was something to write about. Intentionally or unintentionally, they played up the strange and mysterious image of Vanette. She was described as a witch who could use black magic, had the ability of terrifying transformation, and could make any object move with her eyes alone.

However, the police never found evidence of Vanette's murder of Rina until early 2000, when Vanette suddenly committed suicide. In this regard, most people think that she committed suicide in fear of crime. Her killing of Rina was a ritualistic killing by a witch to please the devil.

However, two years later, two black men living near Rina's house surrendered to the police, saying that they were the real murderers. The motive was that they had clashed with the deceased a few days before the crime. The two men were Satanists, and their hearts were full of evil, so they decided to kill Rina as a sacrifice. The pentagram and the killing declaration were also left behind after they committed the crime.

After the trial, the court sentenced the two to life imprisonment. At this point, the "witch murder incident" came to an end, and Vanette, the "witch", regained her innocence. People were curious that two years had passed since the case, and the police had not found the real culprit. Why did the two blacks suddenly turn themselves in?

The media dug deeper and found some clues. It turned out that because the case revealed weirdness everywhere, the investigator was not an ordinary police officer, but the South African Special Investigation Department of Supernatural Crimes.

South African mysterious police investigating supernatural crimes

Although South Africa was already the second richest country in Africa, the influence of shamans on the lives of the people of South Africa had not diminished much. Especially in remote areas, they cured the residents of their illnesses with secret medicine blended with grass and animal corpse pieces, and also protected the souls of the residents with spells and prayers.

There was another type of Shaman. Their secret medicine was made by boiling human flesh and blood and all kinds of strange materials. Compared to praying, they were better at using voodoo spells to curse and summon dark forces with various mysterious rituals. These Shamans were called Baloi, and they were the servants of demons and black magic.

In South Africa, balloi was involved in many strange and difficult cases. The various unrest experienced in South Africa since the 1990s has led to the emergence of a large number of heretical sects and even demon worship groups all over the country. Mysterious incidents often occur. Although the vast majority of them have been confirmed to be deliberate acts by cult believers or just nervous investigators, there are still some incidents that the police cannot find any reason to explain.

Therefore, in 1992, under the order of South Africa's former Minister of Justice, South Africa's Special Investigation Department for Supernatural Crimes was formally established. It is the world's first officially established supernatural crime investigation agency and the only "supernatural police" publicly recognized by the world's government.

The first minister of the investigation department was called Qiongke. Rumor had it that after Vanette committed suicide, he had been bitter and insisted on investigating. On the premise that the traditional investigation methods had not yielded results, he tried to use some special ways. And in the end, with the help of a local shaman, after many attempts, he successfully established some kind of weak connection with the undead of the deceased Rina, which locked the murderer.

A reporter once described Jonko as follows: "He has a beard of the 1970s style. He is not tall but very strong. His tone is calm and calm, just like the kind of simple and reliable uncle that is common in life."

But if you walk into his office, never think of it that way again. A conspicuous plaque with the words "Under the Holy Blood of Jesus Christ" was hung at the entrance of his room.

Few people would not be shocked after entering the door, because the house was full of mysterious and horrible items, candles made of human fat, bibles locked up by chains engraved with charms, charms written in blood, skulls of strange creatures, and mutilated limbs. These were all the precious spoils of Jonko's career.

Jonko led his subordinates to destroy a large number of demon worship organizations, which also proved that many "paranormal events" were only deliberately committed by some people. However, Jonko did not think supernatural cases were fictitious. As a devout Christian, he always firmly believed in the existence of demons and black magic, because he had met them countless times in his career.

Jonko once told reporters about such a case.

One day, the owner of a wealthy farmhouse in Vinda, South Africa, reported to the police that his daughter would be raped by the legendary little devil Tokoloshe every night.

The case was naturally transferred by the local police station to the Supernatural Crime Investigation Department. Because the description was too absurd and bizarre, Jonko did not intend to investigate at first. However, the local police chief repeatedly said that all this was true. Demons did come to disturb the farmhouse every night and raped their daughter. Jonko decided to go and find out.

But when Jonko came to this farmhouse, he found that things were more horrible and bizarre than he had expected.

A huge crack was torn open in the main house of the farm. Any clothes would burn as soon as they touched the daughter's body. A large number of unburned pieces of clothes fluttered in the night sky before the police car drove into the farm. Suddenly, a rock flew up and hit the headlights. There were no livestock in the farm, and there was no life except for a few people present. It was like a graveyard.

Entering the room, Jonko saw the girl who had been violated by the demon sitting cross-legged on the bed with her body bare, gnawing on oranges and dripping juice on her chest.

The farmer's master told Qiong Ke that he had invited many shamans to exorcise demons, but it was completely useless.

After finding out the situation, Jonko began to pray. He tried to solve the incident with a Christian exorcism ceremony.

More than 20 minutes later, the originally closed door suddenly opened on its own. An old short black man slowly walked in. Jones questioned his origin. He expressed in a raspy and hoarse voice that he had come to help the girl. Jonko repeatedly ordered him to leave immediately while praying. Finally, the short man gave up resisting and walked out of the door with a yell.

No one on the farm knew who he really was, and no one had seen a trace of him since.

The attacks stopped the next day, and no demons came to violate the young girl at night. A week later, Jonko received a report from the local police station, and all the farm animals suddenly returned to the farm.

The incident ended suddenly and mysteriously.

Primordial beliefs and demon worship have always existed in South Africa, and it is one of the sources of profound social problems in South Africa.

Jonko had arrested a security guard on suspicion of demon worship. He was handcuffed in the back seat of a police car. Jonko was going to take him back to the department for questioning.

When passing by the cemetery on the way, a black cat happened to cross the road. The moment he saw the black cat, the security guard suddenly trembled with excitement and shouted frantically in the back seat, "Black cat!! Black cat! Have you tasted its blood? It tastes like lead, yes, it tastes like lead! That's our favorite thing!"

The appearance of the black cat seemed to have given the security guard great strength. Jonko could hardly subdue him. He could only suppress the security guard's movements with his assistant while listening to the security guard ecstatically describe their story with the black cat.

The Demon Cult organization that the security guard belonged to firmly believed that black was the manifestation of the power of demons, and the power of demons could be obtained by performing rituals with black cats.

The so-called "ceremony" is to bind the black cat tightly on the altar and violate the black cat while chanting demonic hymns until they are completely abused to death, and then drink the blood of the black cat.

You may think this is too sensational, but this is only a special ceremony that exists in countless demon worship groups in South Africa.

However, with the continuous intervention of Qiongke in some "mysterious" incidents, many non-mainstream religious advocates and some politicians in the folk demanded the government to dissolve this institution on the grounds that the work of the Special Investigation Department for Supernatural Crimes violated the constitutional guarantee of the right to freedom of belief.

In 2006, amid numerous protests, the government officially disbanded the Special Investigation Department of Supernatural Crimes.

This behavior freed the demons and started a carnival that lasted for several years. In the following time, the number of "supernatural" crimes and cult torture and killing cases in South Africa gradually increased, and some paranormal incidents among the people were also spread to the sky, making the authorities very distressed.

As a result, in 2012, the disbanded Special Investigation Department for Supernatural Crimes was renamed the "Special Investigation Department for Harmful Religious Practices of the South African Police Department" and revived in a low profile. Jonko was also reinstated as a training officer.

Of course, past opponents will not sit back and watch the department revive again. They have repeatedly asked the government to disclose the department's mission, budget, and specific information about the 40 police officers trained, but because of the last experience, the government ignored it.

However, in order to allow the Special Investigation Department to continue to exist for a long time, under the requirements of the government, they are very low-key, handling cases quietly, will not announce the details to the public, and no longer allow the media to interview and report. The Investigation Department has completely become a mysterious and secretive department.

In this way, perhaps there is a similar organization in our country, silently guarding the dragon vein and guarding us.
