Budweiser means freedom.

The voice played over Clydesdales prancing through fields.

“Damnit Jim, cut this bullshit!” Duke banged his… hand? Barman Jim didn’t know the correct term.

Woahhhh buddy you’re drunk. Don’t scare my regulars.”

Hmmmmphhhh this, ohh 8% beer, can’t put me down. Neither can Hollywood! Whinnnneee, Jim I’d’ve been wonderful galloping through that grass! I could’ve been a contender! I—”

Duke the Thoroughbred’s chair shattered and he slammed his long, snoring face against the bar.

Jim sighed, “Sorry everyone.”

“What’s his deal?”

“Clydesdales took his job, Stablehands evicted him, Mare galloped off. Tough times.”

“Ahh, that explains it…”

First jaunt into NYC Midnight. Hated my prompts but the feedback said the judges got a good laugh out of it. Got one comparison to Bojack Horseman and that was enough for me.
